tuning for gas/octane
so i can get my tune, get water meth, get it tuned accordingly, no issues with normal driving, everything runs great, no boggin or hiccups, i slam the throttle, the water/meth kicks in at eitehr wide open throttle or a certain maf voltage, and when i notice im runnin a lil low, goin by the windsheld washer fluid resovour, i add about 30 percent washer fluid and the rest water,? so in therory i shouldnt be goin through it like crazy?
and i wont have any issues with the blower, is this pretty much how it sums everything up?

correct execpt the washier fluid water mix.... just use washer fluid (-20) it is 30/70 meth water already. just make sure you get it with no detergents or glycol... just get the cheap stuff @1.99 a gallon
ahhh ok cool, thanks, wasnt sure about that one.
now if i get an aftermarket heat exchanger from cobalt addiction, this will also improve temps and make the car run even better with minimal tuning for it, correct?

ya, im gonna do the meth, it dosnt seem so bad after all, meister knows his shiat, hell hook me up, and give me a lesson or 2 when the time comes to tune, oh and for all of you that are in for the tune with me, miester was told 1 week for hpt to arrive, ill keep everyone posted.
well I was spraying through the intake before the t.b., but c/a made a plate to go btwn the t/b and s/c thats tapped for it... just waiting for my solonoid to come in so I can re-install it.
miester, how is your kit gonna be installed in regards to my car?
will i use the windshiled washer fluid resoviour for fill ups?
do you have the tools to run it under the blower for lsj's

man we have plenty of room to even add a 2 gallon reservoir, over the motor mount, someone either gotta make one or Jerry-rig something up.
Intense is also selling a spacer that's about 1/2 thick so people can start blowing under the charger. you could use that. or drill and tap into the intake manifold if you wanna be cheap

so i guess thats outta the question, i have all the faith in the world when it comes to paul meister, ive seen one his customers that drives a stang gt, 01 or 02, very sick set up, supercharged, big heat exhanger and a pretty sick tune, thing sounds sick and moves, i guess i wont be purchasing the spacer kit then, im not 100 percent sure how he will be able spray under the charger, all i know is i cant wait to get my car tuned man, she moves good enuff already, i just wanna clean it up, add some gooddies hear and there, make it run faster and more efficient and im happier than a pig in shiat!
The lower intake is thick enough to tap and allow a nozzle to be threaded in.
Spraying before the blower works in theory, but cooling ambient air really does not help as much as far as atomization, reducing heat soak and it does not redice temperatures enough

the lower intake is ffine to tap... but getting it to distribute evenly from there is gonna be a little tough... I wanted yo use the spacer plate from intense... but just not thick enough... would work great for nitrous though.. hint hint.. I personally havent seen a problem with spraying through the blower It coold the blower itself off, cools the incoming air.. and I"ve seen a 60-80 deg drop in IAT2's doin it this way... I pulled my blower off the other night after running it for a bout 3 weeks and blower still looks the same as it did when I pulled it off the car 2 weeks after I bought it/.

We learned that when injecting the Meth into the inlet of the blower or before the blower like 03-04 Cobra guys or any one with a screw type blower like Kenne Belle’s or whipple - the Meth’s effectiveness is greatly reduced. We found that instead of lowering the temps as much as 100+ degrees, it can only lower it about 40-60 degrees when injecting the Meth before the blower. Our only and logical explanation for this is the Meth is simply being heated up as it comes in contact with the blower’s internal’s. Even still though, you do get the benefit of higher octane and the inlet temps are reduced enough to be justified.
that is true... I just feel it helps the blower out a bit considering how hot it used to get when I use to run ity couldn't even put you hand near it.... now its ice cold. literally get condensation on the outside by the throttle body to the actual blower housing.. so I guess it will help out nice with keeping temps down... I"ve personally seen 80 deg drops in temp with the way I run it...and those were with back to back runs

My testing is done on much larger applications, with much larger blowers. Even contacting snow performance, they will tell you it needs to be sprayed in boost to atomize.
If you say it works on these car's I will not argue
