Canada 2007 ALBERTA Cobalt Top 1/4 mile Times.

Ok, since it is basically the start of the season and some guys are starting to get some pretty respectable times down in alberta, Id thought id would be fun in a competitive way to have a top 10 list for 2007.

Any Delta body can be eligable. Redlines, Cobalts, Skys, Solstices. weather its a 2.0 or a 2.2 or a 2.4L. All mods allowed. Including slicks. I would like to see a timeslip to add your name to the list. Ok.. PM or post your best exact ET and MPH at an ALBERTA drag strip and i will add it to the list.

2007 Top 10 2.0L

1. 13.603 @ 101.40 mph = Spaz - SS S/C - Race City - Sept 21
2. 13.655 @ 102.65 mph = Anomalous - SS S/C - Castrol - Sept 7th

It is all the time now. I just might order the exedy. this CM is a f**king waist of my time. I reverse bled it and there is no more air in the slave. I then vacuum bled the bitch and no more air. When the car is shut off it will shift very easily into gears. AS soon as I start the car and put the tranni under load its like every gear has a brick wall in front of it. It is getting so bad that my shoulder is starting to f**cking hurt from trying to muscle it in.

Also, can alluminum flywheels be re-surfaced for a new clutch ? Or are u gonna get another flywheel? Dont forget, i still have the stock flywheel.

Well i'll hopefully will be at race city friday with my exedy clutch, i was able to get me a stage 2 clutch pretty cheap with speedtech. But Put me up there 14.88 96mph. We'll see what happends this weekend. If i didn't have to wait 4 weeks to get the exedy hyper single plate, i would of got that.... my car should be up and running tomorrow night woo!

The Exedy comes complete with a new fly wheel. That's why they are expensive. I got up this morning and guess what. I now have no gears. I think this might be the problem. I think the shifter linkage was stretched and last night gave way. My car is being towed to **** as I write this so we will see what they have to say. FFFFFF******CCCCCKKKKKKK!!!!! What else can go wrong.

i havent had any luck getting an exedy. the last vendor from here took my money, and didnt come thru for 2 months. By the time i finally got my money back, the cdn dollar rose, and i lost 140 cdn to sit and wait, for sweet tweet. apparently i cannot say his name here, so you guys can get burned too........
edit: oh yah, i had said i could wait 6 months if need be, as long as the price was held, and my visa wasn't charged until shipped.

Yeh, The car is actually at the dealer as we speek. It looks like maybe it ws the shifter cable. I went to move the car last night and no shifty. Had it towed this morning to ****. Hopefully that was the shiftin problem all along. The cable could have gotten stretched which would give it the shifting problem and now it finally snapped.

Yes I know them both. I asked to have Chris look at my car.

Are you one of the technicians?
