me personally I think LSD is a waste of money if your just straight line dragging.
Axles Clutch Slicks > Axles Clutch LSD IMO. cheaper too.

Right now... your stock clutch isnt allowing your DRs to hook up hard becuase when they grab traction, your clutch wont hold and slips.... and thats why ur fine right now. But once u upgrade ur clutch.. Your tires are gonna hook hard, and your clutch is gonna hook hard... and the next weakest point is gonna give... and thats ur CV axle shafts.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news lol but its only a matter of when it will happen.
Oh I know about the axle, really I don't know how I haven't broken one yet lol. I don't care if I break them, just gives me an excuse to buy them (wife will give me permission).
But anyways I can trailer the thing home if I break. Looking into the $85us upgraded axles.

what 85 dollar axles?

anom, if you have the tranny damn near out, and a diff is under 1k now, wouldnt i be silly to not buy it and stick it in? Remember i have a hoist, lol!
and for my personal *******-like aggressive driving nature, LSD would save my tires huge. (not that i cant wait to roast off those crappy p-zeros).
i love to corner. wont the LSD help a lot there?

There's a place in the states you can send you stock axles and they upgrade the bearings and the shaft itself for $85bucks. I'll have to dig up the link again

just got my muffler back in an hour ago, and i cannot race til i remove my yellow top audio battery, and I see a hectic day tomorrow, but ill try. castrol techs flagged my car, and only let me run the one night.
i think ill pass on sending out axles though. i like having spare parts for emergency.
there is only i maker for them damn things too, arent they?

those techs told me i had to bolt the xtra batt down with 3/8 ready rod, and a metal bracket across the top. i am not drilling 2 more holes for no good reason into my floor.
ill pull it out maybe and run again. he told me i was flagged, and i have to prove the battery thing next time out. he actually turned me down in the tech lineup. I begged like 3 women looking for a facial in **** flicks!!!!! He agreed to let me run one night, and he added, "It's not like this lil car is gonna really tear up our track!" HAHA

lol yeah that guy was a little ****.

On another note, i have control of my pump and fans with the car shut off now
just went for a spirited run, and when i shut it down and turned my fans/pump on...instead of the IAT2s shooting up to 165+, within 3 minutes they stabilised at 144, and after 2 minutes started to drop.

Im interested to see how it helps friday

i ran 14.153@99.37 2.248 60
14.137 @ 101.44 2.245 60
and 14.205@101.89 2.338 60
lots of room for driver improvement i'm afraid!
and traction is so bad, can you guys really convince me that the LSD doesnt help that much? im spinning all thru first, clutch slip into second, and get these times.
I think its time to go shoppin' again.

lol.
the track was bad lastnight curtis....they had 2 breakages....who knows how many during the day with those drag cars out there....

it just wasnt hookin worth a damn lastnight.

last week i was all 2.2 or 2.1 60ft
this week i worked hard just to sneak into the high 2.2s

(im considering ditching these giant heavy 18s for my winter steelies with some drs, or maybe some good summer tires with a little sidewall)

I ran last night but still only got a few more 14.0's... Compared to last week though, my mph went up slightly. I really need to get some more traction off the line. In the next little while, I'll have a few more parts on the car that will help me get into the 13's.
