Calgary - random talk thread
Since Calgary is like a second home and there is never any action in the Regina thread I'm going to start hanging out here haha.
P.S. She's My Kind of Crazy is definitely my favorite song right now too haha. Request that song everyday at work during the request lunch hour. Eric Church - Creepin and the new T.Swift song are high up on that list too. Thought it was Avril Lavigne at the start and not really a fan but every time I hear it it just gets better and better

.Welcome here!
If this is your "2nd home" - how often are you here??
I was recently corresponding with a couple Cobalt SS owners from "the Queen city" (iirc that's what it's refered to right?)
Please allow me to introduce myself;
My name is Jonathan
Did you ever see the run Bluelightening posted of his & my run?
He's a good guy, has an awesome car, and I obliged his request, not because I thought I had a chance, but simply because he asked nicely, and was confident of the place to do it...

his car is beastly....
Last year it was beastly...
and it sure doesn't hurt that it's in my favorite colour, and has nice appearance mods (eg: wheels)
the only problem with that thread was it digressed into a trifecta bashing thread - exactly like he and I expected...
I can't hold a candle to his modifications though...

his car is beastly ~ he actually just officially got into the 12's ~ that's a full second faster than me in the quarter mile!
well i think if we have to over come a approx 50 hp loss i think we are allowed a lil better sc.... but in the same breath we all know lsj>lnf, just like 600+>600- lol just saying the that the lsj is a better block and better car..... lol and really you cant argue it lol hahahahahahaha..... lol all in good fun hey.... just saying there are far more lsj with "big hp" i bet you all wish you could figure out that fuel problem hey..... in all reality i think the tvs should have been stock
hey greg wheres me pics? lol

oh, really...
better car?!?!?!?
if you (or anyone else here) hadn't noticed, I learned to pick my battles a while back...
fun aside;
same car, different seats, different brakes & suspension... which one is better is up to the person to decide.
block? - come on Mark, they're both the same bore & stroke...
and what lack of beefing up, lack of oil squirters, and what else make it better?
You of all people know that I am not the type to knock the LSJ ~ but my bias sits in the car I bought (obviously)
As to your assertion that the TVS should have been OEM on the LSJ, I would counter with this;
Caliber SRT4 came with a multi-port fuel injected 2.4l 285hp stock.
- It has more displacement;
- It has a larger turbo;
- It has a fuel system that is more adaptable to modifications.
Direct injection has been a hold back - causing some tuners to have fueling issues;
ZZP fixed this by adding a 5th injector infront of the throttle body(?);
in the last little bit (iirc) there is a new direct injection injector that is compatible, which has higher flow values...
So, in short the percieved fueling "issue" has been long fixed - one of two ways.
What are you up to this long weekend?
