Haha, Woo, My names Tyler Btw. And Just a question, I do use premium gas in my car, But it only gets around 420km per tank, Is that right? My friends 2.2 gets around 500 per tank. Is the extra 0.2 litres really 80km less per tank? I am having an issue with my exhaust manifold i think where it makes my car sound like it has a fart can on it, Can that effect it?

 

there was an 'XFE' version of the 2.2 (sold for 2009-2010?) which had different gearing, and was setup for better mileage...

 

Well theres is a G5 IF it makes a different, It is just the badge isn't it? And One thing I love about this car, Is I'm going to put HID's in today and thought i'd have to figure out a way to disable the DRLs, But I didn't know they used the turn signals instead of the actual headlights, Woo.

 

Does anyone have a set of headlights put away like this? looking for a USED set, for parts (reflectors plastic bezel), dont care about the outer lens' condition or projectors.........

One thing I forgot to mention was that the XFE was only available with a five speed, and used a different final drive ratio than the non-XFE cars;
Also, automatics will get ever so slightly less mileage versus a comparable manual transmission car - the automatic has more draivetrain parasytic friction, which equates to less mileage versus the same car with a five speed.

I think the XFE was also an option on the G5 ~ but it might have used a different package name, whereas the Cobalt actually was badged as such...

 

 

Probably cracked the flex pipe on the downpipe. It's a pretty cheap fix

 

Yeah, That's what I was thinking it was, It doesn't make any noise under 2,000rpm, Then when I go over that it sounds like vibrating behind the glove box, It's annoying.

 

That's what I thought I'd have to do, But in my year they apparently used the Amber turn signals versus the actual headlights themselves, according to the owners manual. So no need to pull a DRL fuse.

Get an aftermarket down pipe if your going to have the stock one out. It's a good time to upgrade

 

the zzp downpipe makes the car alot meaner sounding

 

But if your wanting their mid length header then don't get the down pipe as a regular down pipe will not fit
