ZZP does indeed make a long tube.
Well they set up what's called VIU inspections from time to time. You get pulled into it and they go through your car with a fine tooth comb to make sure everything is legit and legal. You either get warnings or tickets on things that aren't. Modding motors isn't illegal but they can be dumb and hassle you for stupid ****. Pillar gauges, catless exhaust, colored gauge lights ect. A guy got a ticket once for changing his shift knob and it didnt have the 1-5 gears stamped into it anymore. No joke. I've been lucky enough ever to have had gone through one with my car. I can only imagine what they would nail me for lol.

like there isn't bigger problems with the natives/poverty/assults/domestics etc. Its such a shame. Im sure alberta is only a matter of time. I know in the states allot of guys are required to pass annual inspections/emissions and such.
i've never heard of that. they won't cover your mods if they aren't listed as being on the car. and your rate will go up simply to cover the cost if you do list them. but unless they can prove the accident was your fault and the police report says exhibition of speed or racing or something along those lines they're not going to drop you.
same thing as having a $4k set of wheels on a car. you're damn right i'll have those insured lol. and the payment will go up simply because there's $4k added to the car. but they aren't going to drop you if you done stuff to the engine.

If you put mods on your car and the insurance company doesn't know about them and find them after an accident, they assume you are racing and will drop you like it's hot. I've talked to my company before and if its modified well above stock they consider you to be a racer
I love it. Seems like a good company, and they treat me good. ive only been with them for a month now though.
im happy im not an engineer yet haha, the operators hate them haha.
'Murica blows.

I mixed up my caliper pins and need your help.
My honey asked me today if I could clean up the pins on the rear calipers of our 2006 cobalt so that he could re lubricate them. Well, I got them clean, but I didn't realize that the two pins were different so now how do I know which pin goes in the upper hole and which in the lower? Anyone who has pulled theses caliper pins out to lube them if you can tell me where to put them. Thank you I will appreciate it forever and him probably even
more.
more.

IMO it about knowing your policy and what is covered, what is exempt etc.
My stereo is covered as its aftermarket, I ensured the underwriter I went with had a policy surrounding this.
Its like any breach of contract.....you can be dropped.
another example is the bmo insurance I have for me and my spouse.
I get paid to be in the hospital for any stay over 24 hours. However if I have a alcohol level of over point 0.08 (legal limit) then my policy becomes void.
All I can say is know your policies the best you can, ask your broker questions.
