The scaler needs to be changed for the Ls4 tb to work mark, it's a very touchy thing as too much added will screw up your idle and everything as well as too little will do the same thing

Well I've been building cars / engines and working on cars since high school so this is the next step for me I love learning as much I can then I can help out my friends and what not. I built my brothers SR20DET 98 240SX that has a stand alone I'll also be tuning this summer so I'll have to learn that system too.

 

My biggest project I've done has to be my 1987 Mazda B2000. I swapped a 4.3 V6 5 speed into it. I have brodix heads fully ported 10.6 to 1 forged pisons h beam rods solid lifter stage 5 cam custom stepped headers single plain intake and NOS on top. I have a set of 8.5 pistons for it then I want to throw 2 k04s on it to see what it can do

Because you're allowing more airflow into the engine

 

Yes but wouldn't the maf already be set up for the tube size the air will just flow past with more velocity? So any mod you do you have to recal the maf?

Sometimes I have thought that I am the only person here who recalls seeing anything on our cars on speed channel when they were new...
The show that stands out the most to me was one that I believe three guys were trying to get a spot in a shop as an apprentice of sorts, and one guy had an (04?) Ion Redline ~ the guy was a totally immature douche... and made the tuner crowd look bad...
but made everyone laugh AT him...

 

Sure I'm in no rush until summer. Ya speed channel sold me on the cobalt but I didn't see that one.
