Maybe the 7163efr is available!! BorgWarner EFR 7163 Turbo - Full-Race.com I e-mailed Full Race to see if they would sell it without the exhaust housing then I'll buy the ZFR exhaust housing and get it machined myself to have the first ever 7163ZFR! Need one by spring

Ya prob but I'm hoping most people already bought their turbos and there's just a handful that want the 7163. I really don't wanna get a 6758

The 7163 will probably be too big. 4 cyclinder cars shouldn't have large turbos lol

That 3076 you plan to run is no runt lol. I've been in an lsj t with one. Still comes on like a light switch.

Since everyone talks about a boost ramp on the 6758 I think that the 7163 will be a good size for my car. Just guess I'll have to get it and see. When I do we can go for a rip and see what you think too

Lol I figured that most turbos are a light switch. Hell even supercharges are light switches lol

Well the bigger you go the worse it gets haha. I will have very little lag with this 252ET. If you have light switch power with a supercharger then something is wrong lol. By light switch I mean you hit the gas and nothing is there then it eventually comes on like freight train haha.

Lol well with a tubular manifold you can tune it to come on smoother than a log style. Just works on the pulses a little better

You get less lag with a log style due to being able to keep more heat in the turbo.

It's a tough call haha. I cant find much for dyno #'s with LSJ T's running this turbo. The closest I could find was one BYT built and was running meth injection. With a bone stock motor it made 412/384 on 23 psi. I decided to ditch my meth injection with this build. But am running a ported head with ZZP S2 cams and plan to do a dyno pull on 30psi. Won't be daily driving on that though lol. Soooo I'd like to see in the 430whp area.

Wow 30psi on pump. If i ever get lucky and get this 7163 I'd like to compare spool and driveability. I'm going to run 24-28psi I have an idea for a dual boost setup I may choose to do I'm also running meth but I'm getting a flow gauge with a warning system

Look at my avatar. 29 psi with my TVS lol. The motor will be able to take it so why not try it out lol. I'll probably DD on 22-24 psi. Nothing wrong with meth injection. I just got greedy with it lol. I had warning stuff out the ass and still managed to pop my motor when it failed haha. But that's what happens when you rely on it for fueling. It's just one less thing to worry about for me. It's an up keep mod or bad things can happen. Just was a little tired of it and figured this new set up doesn't really need it.

Ya my meth isn't working right now and I have to look at it but it's too cold now and that makes me lazy. I really don't need much more power for dding thats why I want a dual boost setup
