Thanks it's easy to install the lines and such but it gets wet so I bought a pump cover

ya maybe but you certainly are forgetting about support mods. that kit is not a bolt up kit. i think you need to do some research. to be honest jeremy i cant even bolt this kit up to what i have. like i said before i am starting in a much better place then stock. stock is where your starting from. but go ahead bolt it up to your car, i wont say i told you so when your car blows up. thats because i just said it.


ya i know the quality sucks but it was the best youtube offered on that scene. the jist of the story was jon wasnt cleaning the house because he was ***** deep in his woman. if he states otherwise i will call him gay.

Happy new year guys! Hope everyone had a nice holiday season. I'm back at work after 12 days off and I'm draggin ass

 

Mark I hear you're having some car issues if we do get together this weekend I'll bring some tools to take a look at it

 

so what issue are you talking about? lol the smoke or shifting? hahahahaha the shifting we know what it is and there is no hurry for that. I also kinda want to get new brakes before we go to bleed the system again. the smoke I don't think its a issue but jon thinks something is wrong.

I will throw it out there to see what you all think. as we recall jon said I was bellowing thick smoke upon shifting. well before Christmas I took the car out, and sean and I were messing around . sean and I had a good look at the smoke bellowing out. we both agree on color and thickness. as I hit my sweet spot til redline I bellow out BROWN smoke. it is thick as pea soup. far as I am concerned the car feels normal and pulls like normal. I am not loosing coolant nor oil. all levels remain as they should be. so any ideas what might be wrong if anything? afr remains as it should be it hasn't changed.

maybe its related maybe it isn't. I get 2 different smells when I run petro can as to husky 94. with petro 94 (I use more regularly) I get a sweet hint of a smell resembling a burnt corn. with husky 94 it just smells nasty. car runs best with petro94.

it is a gutted cat. it has the piece for the cat in there however nothing inside. so catless

jon is thinking maybe a ring is going. i am not so sure because the only thing it seems to do is bellow out brown smoke. i thought it was just the amount of fuel being dumped in and burnt completely. i dont get a gas smell at all. with trifecta i would always get a gas smell and back fire. on your tune i get next to no backfire and no gas smell.

 

Black, blue and white are all I've ever heard of. Nothing should make a car burn brown. If a ring was going it should be blue. But a leak down test would put your mind at ease. Or start a new savings account for a rebuild lol.

 

lol me and jon had the same arguement and the smoke is definately BROWN. brown like shyt, i would have blame it on disturbing the dust off the road, but sean was behind me and he said it is definately coming out of my exhaust. it doesnt bother me as much as it bothers jon lol. i just figured thats the way it is and no issues to be had. jon suggested to post it because we didnt come across a conclusion on our own.

it only smokes in the sweet spot at wot. nothing during idle or any other throttle position.

a full rebuild will come in due time. most likely the day i switch to 1900 or "cough cough" turdbo

 

Are we still getting together on sat? If so I could come take a look if it's at the shop

 

I still feel like its just fuel, but do a compression and leak down test if you want to find out exactly how healthy it is.

 

I don't have a leak down tester but will do a compression test for sure before spring

 

i am working sat and i have a function to go to after. so not this sat. the car is at the shop. i might pull the plugs just to double check to see how they look now but they appeared to be burning normal the last i checked. i really dont think there is anything wrong. if you look at my exhaust tip it is a golden brown too, not really black. my best idea was the additive they use in the fuel. now i havent checked to see if husky does the same thing.

will do a compression test and leak down test before spring for sure.

those adjustable cam gears are very nice piece to have jon. i dont like you anymore. hahahahaha
