Calgary - random talk thread
ATTENTION ALL COBALT OWNERS
I am pleased to present on behalf on "Jay-M" who sells these kits on NT.com and EXD.com (websites abbreviated). For those of you who goto the regular saturday night "races/showNshine" you will have no doubt seen my car with the HID fogs/low-beams. The following is a picture of my car with 6000K low beam HID bulbs/balasts/relay and 4300K fog light bulbs/balasts/relay(mind the cheep grille, used it for about a month to get some inspiration on what i wanted to do for my lower grille, it's back to stock now till i build my custom one over the summer)

Bosch Digital HID Conversion Kit w/ free relay included
$160 - Single Beam Kit
$200 - Bi-Xenon (High/Low) Kit
$25/hr - Install (min. of 1 hr)
The cobalts as most of u should know have the low/high beams in the same bulb. Now for anyone who's seen my HID's, there is really no need for HID high beams cause the low beams are already brighter than any stock high beams........it becomes a personal choice, Jay-M can get both only low beam bulbs which takes away the ability to use high beams. OR, you can get the Bi-Xenon bulbs that integrate both lows/highs into the one bulbs and allows you the ability to use HID high beams if you so desired. As for payment and ordering ect, Jay-M has family in Calgary and currently lives in Vancouver, he is planning a trip down here within the next month and will bring as many kits as ppl order. Questions/Comments pls e-mail me as I'm pretty much never on the cobalt forums, "midnightskynathan@hotmail.com" OR, feel free to drop by any saturday night at the local races/showNshine and I am usually in the back with Steve and Justin(Black recently lowered SS 2.4, and Orange SS/SC modded "Ruffy" Cobalt) I am always free to answer questions about the HID's while I'm there.

Absolutly...actually the car is just fine. I just had enough of it. Once you spend that kind of money on a repair like that it just takes the wind out of you sails and it's just not fun any more. haha
Now my Diablo Preditor tuner should be here this week along with my Roush hood scoop, rear black out panel and chin spoiler. I am doing a 69 mach 1 theam to the car. A buddy of mine is also going to pain the rear spoiler, hood scoop and chin spoiler, semi gloss black. It should look great on the satin silver paint.
cheers

If you find one on ebay make sure it is un married to the persons car you are buying it from. They are VIN specific.
Hope this helps

I bought it from a guy in texas. He had a extra one so I offered him 250 shipped and he took it. They sell for around 404 CAD or 369 US. You can get them here in calgary at Western MotorSports. WMS is a mustang shop but I am sure if you ask them they would bring one in for you. They are up in your neck of the woods. They have a map to there shop on the web site.

No Problem.
Bamachips is a good place to get tunes for the Diablo as well. They do tuning for Mustangs as well as Dodges. There pricing is really decent for tunes. You give them all your power mods and they create the tunes specific for your set up. Take a look at their web site.
