he will get you better pics and he better take some night shots lol
Seriously you can be faster (because of gearing) in a stick car;
- with an auto, it's all about launch (& reaction time if your doing a grudge match)
- with stick it's about launching, as well as nailing your shifts...
have I missed something?
Last I checked no 2.2L was showing up...
He's not sure now. He was suppose to be in Nelson for a family thing, however Khloe was with me those days so he changed his mind about going. I told him he could take Khloe so he said we will figure it out when he gets here.
oh?
cool.
I was hoping:
1) to see him & Kris (?sp Chris?) race
2) see if he could (as he suggested) beat my 'gran-dam'
Unfortunately, if there's no BS-ing going on, I'm pretty sure he's at a horsepower disadvantage against the 'gran-dam'...
I could even be convinced to bring a 2nd set of tires incase he's going to cry foul on me...

you need to shift just past peak torque, so that the engine is still at or near peak when shifted into the next gear...
automatics are alot easier for drag racing, but typically the auto creates more parasitic hp loss.
