theres on on kijiji that a guy's been trying to sell for quite some time... iirc he's currently asking $160; iirc he's listed on the edmonton kijiji....

Drumhellar is a couple hours from us ~ I cannot recall anyone form there posting here...

 

i drive through about every 1-2 months. Most likely no with the cobalt anymore, but will come through with an suv

 

On Kijiji there's a yellow 2.4 in the SW listed for $50k.

What a saga this has been to get clips for my front and rear lip... gmpartsdirect.ca ended up being more than from a dealership. Gmpartsdirect.com is the route I had to go, but they don't ship to Canada so I have to use my bongous mail forwarding account to have it shipped to Connecticut and then to me. Nor will they accept a Canadian Visa, so I now have to go send a money order to North Carolina. Oh joy.

 

Dude, get it shipped to Montana. I'm making a trip down there next week anyways. Wouldn't that be cheaper than a double shipping service? It's $5.

damn... i need a new front lip as i smashed a curb and broke a few off a while back. im going to have replace some clips. this does not sound fun.

 

The only hassle is paying for it which, as a Canadian, requires me sending a money order regardless of where the item will be shipped.

 

Did you try emailing Tom at www.crateenginedepot.com ? He has stuff that is not on his website, he may have them.

I didn't, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have this part. I actually got a hold of one from Davis, and it's a pretty specific, funky looking clip. Glad I didn't try to ghetto rig something.

 

Worth a shot man, an E-mail is free . He has lower grill clips and stuff.

Also I looked up that 50K 2.4SS haha, no way that's right. There is also a $15,500 09LS with 40,000k.

What's everyone up to today? I'm finally fixing my windshield washer nozzle (Gotta find a place to get one, Dealer is open mon-fri and opens after I work and closes before I'm done haha). Getting those wipers off was ridiculous haha. Also putting in a new roll pin and pulling off all my interior trim to paint it.

How is your guys dash/door handle paint holding up? Mine is awful, so I picked up some paint that seems extremely close to the stock satin nickel. Hopefully it is a bit more durable.

This car is going to be like a brand new one by the time is back running again .

I have been told that is known for not holding up too well.

Apparently Jrmotorsports has found a vinyl that is a near perfect match, which he has used to wrap these parts... iirc

 

i just properly prepped mine, primed, painted and cleared and mine is still holding up really well with the color i want.



but then again i also had an old body shop hookup of mine paint them properly since i suck at painting haha
