Well, hopefully you don't wait nearly as long as me for parts...

Jury's out till tomorrow when I go back to clarify things, but it seems as though alot more was replaced than I was initially told was going to be replaced...
I actually popped by JC's after work today to see if they would know when the remaining part(s) were supposed to come in, because we were already a couple days over my last estimate, and the car was done and waiting for me!?!
(apparently my service tech was out today, and the service tech who "called me" while was at work, called my house instead of the work number I gave them... what a tool.)

I was so happy to get it back I could look past the fact that they gave it back to me WAYYYY dirtier than I gave it to them;
Harpers Tire' Car Wash made some money off me tonight.

SES light was on when I picked it up;
P0016 & P0017 crank positioning sensor errors...

I only checked the codes after cleaning the car, and getting it home.

 

hmmm you think that they would check it to make sure there weren't any codes left.

those codes were not present when I dropped it off.

I had severe misfire codes when I dropped it off - becausue of the grenaded lifters & rockers...

but yeah, we'll see tomorrow morning.

edit: on 2nd thought I'll go take care of the office lottery tickets tonight, and just drop it off first thing tomorrow morning.

 

should i go to **** chev or shaw gmc to get clips for my grille and pontiac center caps?
