what is you afr at wot? ottp tune ran really good on my car until i started modifying a little more. I have hp tuners, i can tune for you but not in next 2 weeks. ( my wife should be having our first baby any day)

what are the things you are having issues with, are you running rich, bad idle, knocking, anything else.

i would only charge you credits, which i believe are 75 (havent checked in a while)

I'll take a look at my afr's today. I haven't paid attention to my wideband in a long while lol. I got the canned tune put on before I did any of the exhaust and intake and I dont forsee me spending any more on engine parts so I figured time to get it properly tuned

12.3 most of the time and once I got it to 11.8 going up a hill. These were all at WOT in either 2nd or 3rd

That was a tiny thunderstorm lol. But it was nice having one since its a rare occasion down here. That's one thing I miss about Edmonton is the amount of thunderstorms they get. It's almost every other night u get a sweet lightning show in July and august.

do you have an interceptor gauge? if you are running 12.3 on wot runs with a 2.8 im thinking you are going to be running a little lean and getting knock, if you run 12.3 you are risking burning a hole in your piston from running to lean. your not running meth right? What do you have for cooling mods. Are you getting the dipstick popping out issue when wot.

These cars should run in the 11.7 to 12 range

No interceptor. I'm going to do a couple real pulls on the highway tomorrow. Im sure I've seen it as low as like 11.2 and stuff.

No dipstick popping yet

ok, you definatly need a tune to clean things up, also get an interceptor so you can watch for knock, especially with running a 2.8, you need to watch for it so you dont fry a piston. get a meth kit and an interceptor, 500 bucks and you will make some good power and be able to watch for things going wrong. As i said in 2 weeks if you want to plan a day we can do a tune, will need a couple hours.

What kind of wideband do you have, you will need to run a wire from the signal wire on it to allow us to hook up to hp tuners ( thats if you want me to tune it)

also pray you dont get popping dipstick, usually it means piston issues on the lsj not the intake manifold gasket everyone thinks it is. When i rebuilt my motor i was having that issue with dip stick popping and i couldnt get it fixed with everything else i tried, when i pulled the pistons 1 and 4 had broken ring lands. still ran ok but was probably on the verge of blowing up

i did my head, from everyone else thats done it they say 10-20 wheel hp, i havent changed anything since last time i was on the dyno but that so soon as i jump on i will tell you( redid internals but that doesnt generate hp), i know my top boost went from 25 psi to ~20ish so i know i have better flow now.

if your going to do it though i would just pay someone else next time, it took alot of man hours and research to perform my self. a guy on here sells them for 400 with return of a core. (lsjion)
