both are not 3 hours even driving the speed limit, you would be looking at max 2 hours for both of those (city limit to city limit)

That CF hood is Kris's (kissrocker);
IIRC he got it last year, took it out of hte pacakge to put it on his car, then took it right back off, opting to only put it on this summer...

was that city limit to city limit, because castrol isn't in edmonton its just outside of leduc which can be reached in 2 hours doing the speed limit.

not from my experience while driving the posted limit;

Calgary to Red Deer is 1.5 hours;
Red Deer to Edmonton is 1.5 hours.

Red Deer is smack dab in teh middle of Calgary & Edmonton - and even though Castrol is a couple minutes from Edmonton, is it really worth arguing this point over little more than semantics behind "Calgary to Edomonton"??

I'm team Soundjunky

I still would say it takes 3 hours. And I've driven to Edmonton with both of you.

When does Jon ever do the the speed limit? None the less it took 3 hours to get to Leduc, and 3 hours to get back.

that right there is exactly where I see the disconnect between theory & reality;
just becasue in theory you can traverse 300km's in sub-three hours according to the math;
in reality, you have reduced speed limits, traffic and (to make matters worse) people needing pit-stops...

Thanks BB!

Um then why 3 hours back? When you got the ticket and did the speed limit?

You do also realize that it's typically Canadian to underestimate things right

I'm with Jon. But also with Steve. I find it's about 2 hrs 45 mins to Edmonton, 3 hrs to the center. I go there every summer

in my truck it took 2.5 hours. Maybe a little more with traffic but in my car it takes a little under 2.5 hours. I've clocked it numerous times at numerous speeds. proven method< theory and reality! lol now tell me I'm wrong
