ill probably go with car salon
what was Mr Detail again?

I'd be inclined to support a guy/company which gives back to the community... just saying

(Plus Sammy is a great guy!)

I understand he has more reasonable dyno time than anyone else in town;
he puts on a car show;
even back in the day when I volunteered with Secret Street, he would come with pizzas for the volunteers...

I can't say anything about working for the guy, but I will tell you this, I have absolutely noting negative to say about him, and have never heard a negative word about him... IMHO, that means ALOT.

we should try and get in his car show then. or are there restrictions?

we could also maybe book a dyno day together and get a cheaper rate, and everyone can hop on the dyno

I dunno Sammy's last name - he runs/owns Mr. Detail, and Sammy's Pizza iirc.

I rarely participate in events which require me to skip church;
I'm kind of old fashioned in the fact that I try to in my own way "keep the sabbath Holy" - to me, that's placing going to church above just about anything else on Sunday...

but there is always the exception - as in the other sunday's cruise... but at the end of the day it just felt wrong... my weekends seem incomplete without going to church.

if he owns sammys pizza, then its sammy borhot. i go to school with his niece lol. my teacher always advertises sammy pizza in his lectures.

as for church, i wasnt brought up in a religion, so ive only been to church twice, and both times were to support my grandma as she sings in the choir.

ok first of all i will settle all arguements about driving time to edmonton.... my personal best was 1hr and 15 mins, my personal worst is 6 hrs.... on the general i say 2.5 hrs is about right with no stops, and 3 with stops....

now yes it is sammy borhot, he doesnt own the pizza place no more coz his brothers do.... now as for tinting your windows there is only 2 places i recomend, 1 is sammy, second is icon.... with that being said i would go to sammy, thats me tho.... anywhere else your taking your chances.... if you goto tint master i will disown you jordan hahahaha... as for comunity services that sammy does its all true he does give back to the comunity.... as for his car show you need to pre book and there is limited space.... unfortunately they only do want heavily modded cars coz of the lack of space.... its truely the only reason.... its very popular... i would tend to get him to tint your car... and remember he is more willing to give deals if you are a freakent shopper there... if you know what i mean..... but who am i to tell you what to do go get the cheap job done and pay for it in the end....

ignorance of the law is no excuss, and what is lifetime warrenty? do you know how they can warrenty tint jobs for life? when the manufactor of the tint only warrenties thier product for 5-7yrs max? i will tell you how..... coz nobody keeps thier car for life... thats why they say lifetime warrenty, they never have to warrenty it.... btw i also know the owner of car salon, i almost even went a worked for him.... but i didnt recomend him, i wonder why? ask yourself that question.... like i said jordan go get it done wherever its really your choice, but dont go to mrd. for wheels and hoping for a deal when you bought nothing from him.... just saying.... i built a sunfire once, it had over 15 000 of parts in it, and i know i did not spend 15 000 on it.... everything was bought through mrd... hell i wont tell you the exact money i spent but i will tell you it was under 8 000.... loyalty goes along ways man...

i would be if the timing was right but it isnt right so i cant and besides i am lil more interested in a blue tvs when the time is right man..... if you catch my drift tjay... if it still around at that time....

as long as it doesnt bubble, crack or peel im fine with it. if it does, they would warranty it correct? if they say lifetime warranty, and i have bubbling after 2 years, they would warranty it right?

I've never heard of warranty work on a illegal mod on a vehicle. just saying. I always understood that tint is as is when finished. unless they have a 6 month warranty on the work. that sounds more like it

jordan i think mark is telling you go to mr detail haha. I would also recomend them. My car will be going there for tint in a month finally haha. ive owned my car for 5 years and the first thing people do is the last thing ill damn near do, kind of funny

they will not offer warranty on anything but defects and bubbles at most places, but like mark said you most likely will not have the car by that point.

Mark if i still have it when you want it i would definatly sell it to you. I just BB'd it last night and said 7500 to 9500. I will most likely sell it in fall for $11,000 with everything including HP Tuners

haha well i think you could pick it up for 4000ish, and pending how it is would not be a bad deal for a car pending how it runs and why it had a salvage title, would definatly need some research done. You could damn near part it and make money
