still doesn't negate the fact that it's 2.5 hours give or take 15 minutes from edmonton to calgary

so what's keeping all your spirits high in this dreary weather?

(yes that was an oh-so-subtle subject change from what's possibly the lamest topic if discussion here ever!)

not arguing but where are you starting your timing from, from actual city limit to city limit its not 3 hours, any map and gps system goes from city center to city center which is 3 hours.

and my hopes are drowning with the rain lol

yah city limit to city limit is not 2 hours to med hat doing the speed limit, i just did that drive last weekend at 130km/h all the way and i didnt even do it in 2 hours, and edmonton is the same, drove that road every weekend for a year and the only way you can do city limit to city limit is to be doing well over the speed limit.

i also just got a quote from the car salon, they want 279.99 plus tax for all 5 windows done with lifetime warranty.

tint masters wants 314.00 with tax and lifetime warranty, but they only have 4 shades of black.

ill probably go with car salon

That's a long drive.. it would be much more tolerable with even another person doing the same drive...

I've been out that way to attend the Trans Am Nationals (Dayton Ohio) in 2006, and then again the Pontiac Nationals (Norwalk Ohio) in 2008.

Both of those trips were a good three days of driving each way...

I took the '73 to the TA nat's, but opted to take the GA to the Pontiac nats, and instead of sitting in a showfield or walking around all day, I spend all of the Pontiac nat's doing (well loosing) bracket races!

In between races;

My best from the weekend was a couple of 15.4's;
But ultimately my inconsistency was what did me in;
This was with a different (smaller) set of cams, no header, while running a GM stock tune.
