Mark, I'm sorry to have (just now) read this.

I don't even have a spot where you could park the car if you opted for the buy out - but hey I think you do (your dad's mechanic buddy)...
I mean if you're going to still loose your shirt over this is is possibly worth being out a smidge more to keep the car?
Just saying.

Okay, I understand your pretty emotional right now after losing something material that you were attached to. But lets put our realistic thinking caps on here and realize what i was saying.

Yes, Your going to get screwed over this somehow, That’s just how insurance companies work, However you can make the best out of this. When life deals you a shitty card you cant sit around and cry about it.

Insurance company is offering you X amount of money. You owe A amount of money. X does not equal A. However, X is more then the value of a used SS/SC in your condition if not more then a ss/sc. Take the amount they offered you and go purchase another vehicle. Its a wash.

Call me a bitch, ******* whatever, I’m not looking to start drama. These are the facts, the realistic facts. It sucks but that’s how it is.

And yes, I would come tell you this right to your face.

I hope for your sake it works out, If it doesn’t. Don’t cry about it. Take my advice and make the best of a shitty situation.

Best of luck.

this snow we're getting to day had me so bummed out that I needed to go to McDawgballz just to get out and do something on the cheap (plus the free wireless might have played into this... )

^^ Unfortunately I don't, but if I see anything I'll keep you in mind.

it sounds like you have similar taste in trucks as me!

FYI by body style:
(2nd gen) 1967-1972
(3rd gen) 1973-1987
(fourth gen )1988-1998

Chevrolet C/K - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I like the 67-72 the most for overall style, but I like the 88-98 most for their interiors;
the latter third gens had a bit better interiors - I don't care for the massive vinyl dashes of the third gens because they crack & warp something fierce...

I know a guy in Calgary with a 70 truck. Might be 71 but it's a half ton on a 3/4 ton suspension. I think, hes got it mostly put together and is looking to get rid of it. I'll get more info when I get home if you want

main roads are fine again. even last night they weren't bad, a lil slick but that just makes it a lil fun. like come on 1200rpm and half throttle you can get your tires to break loose in 3rd ahahahah
