Canada Aftermarket Dealers

Being a newbie here...gotta ask a newbie question.

Are there any good Canadian aftermarket shops that you know of? That way hopefully I can avoid the "duty" charges. Or would it just be simplier and cheaper to buy from the US and ship to Canada?

Thanks for the info!

there are some things you can get without messing with the border.
but remember, the chances are it was made in the states.....and the store your buying it from shipped it across the border and paid those charges....which they just tack onto your price anyway.

In the end it all ends up pretty close.
Just avoid UPS and Fedex.
they will rape you when your stuff crosses the border.
USPS is your friend.

Thanks! Yeah I am quite familiar with the "do not use UPS or FedEx" bit, so I try to use USPS whenever I can.

I usually just order off the net, but if you're in calgary (which it looks like you are lol) goto CMS (contemporary motor sports) on 32nd ave NE and talk to Jay. Tell him wayne sent you (or 403Gemini from beyond.ca) good guy, and he'll hook you up

Congrats on your future purchase. As others have said buying from the us is not that bad and if you can wait use usps. Also avoid ups at all costs
