I plan to file a complaint with the local news stations and if they are willing to interview I would like to get a group of us together for the interview - remember that this will need to be totally professional in nature especially since this behavior will be monitored for other future peoples inpact.

As for the rest of the replies which I took time to read through thanks to everyone who is in support of this and I really would agree with Kasio that please lodge a complaint about the treatment and the fact that they just cost them selves a large amount of business.

I'll be trying local news stations today to see if they are willing to run a story.

Peeps from edmonton please contact your local news papers and news agencies as well I have found some numbers but am very swamped with work today as its my day back after being gone a week so I just finished sorting through my 200 emails and 20 + voicemails.

Keep me posted though as to how this pans out and we'll try to corilate this with everyone. Again the more support we can drum up from these emails.

hahaha ya i'll do that tonight and repost the pic. oh and to all those who are still writing their letters as i am a little late on mine, you may want to mention that the cop wrote on one of the tickets and i quote "Driver Can't Park" as a direct remark towards one of our members. and if anyone got a pic of the rcmp officer parked next to us exactly like us please email that with you as well as i didn't get the picture. if we have that we can fight the parking tickets. i've already told everyone in my shop not to go there since all of us (myself included in a few weeks) have tint.

Wow sorry to hear that... Id complain for sure..! cops around here are not like that thank god.. I would have agreed to remove my tint... providing the officer would have remove his sirens and lights... they are distracting when i drive..!!

the police aren't like that in Calgary either. I was surprised when I heard what they were doing when I arrived also.

i emailed them, i made it short and sweet. if i made it long by the end i would be mad again and i would of said **** i would regret/ that wouldnt help the situation. i basically said we didnt deserve to be treated like that and pointed out how there were cars all around with tint, and how we arent going to be having any more meets in that town because of abuse. i also pointed out how im going to deter people from visiting sylvan lake.

 

Alright sweet. I'm gonna do mine up tomorrow and send it to a bunch of people... Email to the police there, the mayor, and the newspaper in Red Deer. LOL should be interesting to see if I get a response.

 

thats wicked, i hope that we get some kind of response. this officer deserves to learn a lesson. maybe we can ruin his career hahaha.

I at least hope that he, and his colleagues, realize that they took things too far and that it wasn't right the way that they pre-judged us and treated us like punks.

 

^ thats the point you should get across. the picture with you all parked as you were with all the other non-meet cars around you was perfact. it shows how you just went there to have a good time and show your cars off when he came to hassel you guys.
