hey guys, i have a idea to have a cruise through the mountains this spring... my intensions are to get the best pics of balts in all the forums... we should set a date here and a list to who is coming... please if you have parts waiting to put on lets get it done before this date.... i want some real sweet cars there... all is welcome and invited!!!!! the idea is to cruise to banff up to jasper or radium.... maybe even a night over would be cool... i am thinking june or may would be best!!!!

all balts are welcome, i wanna see what you guys feel would be good for a date.... honestly anything works for me anywhere say like march to whenever... lol just as long as the snow is somewhat melted and i can put my springs in..... then we are good to go... depending if we want to make it a 1 day or 2 day thing...

 

I think a 2 day thing would be cool im up for anytime the sooner the better... Count me in!!

i was supposed to do a scenic train ride through the mountains from vancouver to calgary 2 years ago. didnt go cause it was 3400$ which seemed a bit high, even in cdn. would still love to see it tho.

 

when you experience it first hand you may change your tune lol.... i have seen some of the states.... not all mind you.... rest assured you have wonderful country.... canada is breathe taking..... coast to coast.... except that spot where you come out of the trees in manitoba and you see winipeg, regina, and calgary on the horizon hahahahahah.... it is a lil depressing hahahah so flat..... kidding!!!!

3400, ?????? i am not sure maybe check that price again.... dont quote me.... on the bright side i hear it is a trip to remember..... first class exp....

 

Definately be interested in this.. need a date first and can't really put myself on a specific date as I don't know what my schedule will be like, with lacrosse starting in march or so, and once season starts close to the end of April, it gets pretty busy

 

i will come pending date, with the kid coming in June it will just depend on date

 

i am under the assumption that earlier would be better???? the problem with it being earler, camping would be colder. if we decided to make this a 2 day thing....

so if we made it a 1 day thing maybe late april?

To the Texas dude, I went from the coast of BC(where I live) to Edmonton Alberta. I thought I knew gorgeous scenery until I drove through the BC/Alberta mountains. There is no price that can be set on the views. Totally worth every penny to go. A cruise would be cool to join, but I'd much rather save my time off for a WCC meet. I missed it last year, and may have to miss it again this year since we will be having another top priority joining the family in May/June.

 

yes this is still a go.... i just need to set a date.... unfortunately i am busy with fixing my car right now... i had some major issues.... when it is done i will set a date....

 

Better take a good photographer with you, equipment and photography skills are more important then good location
