when was the last time you filled up and i suggest double checking your gas cap none the less that is the most common cel and it happens to the best of us.

you should be more concerned if it were flashing, that means posible catylist damage.

ok ya you would have gotten the cel sooner if it were the gas cap, we get so many people come into **** with a cel and it turns out they didn't put the gas cap on properly its hilarious actually as to how many people do it.

Once a MIL has been "triggered" , even after fixing the fault (eg tightening the fuel cap) it will require 3 consecutive PASSING trip cycles before it will be extinguished. (unless you can clear the code with a scan tool or Aeroforce)

So it's normal take a few drive cycles before the light goes out.
If it's not running bad, just drive it a bit more...

yay for me and its a little more then 3 key cycles its roughly 10 - 15 key cycles (on and then off is one cycle) for the gas cap code to be cleared if the gas cap is tightened.

not necessarily, the obd2 moniter cant test evaporative emisions if the gas tank is on full, has to be between 3/4 and 1/4 full to run the I M monitor May still be a gas cap

Can't even fill our own gas in my city. It's city bylaw that all gas stations must be full service. Except people here are so lazy I usually have to pump it myself and then as I'm just putting the nozel in the tank they finally come by to help.
