If you're heading out this Friday, we should try and race again. I already know what will happen, but it'll be fun.

Cant make it out for two reasons....

My car is at the stealership getting the belt replaced.

Turns out it WAS slipping and that explains why i only ran 13.9 in mission. Im not making full boost because of the slipping belt.

AND>..... I got sent out to work in Edson today. So yeah sorry guys.

Hey Ed, yes in calgary your the top dog for redlines, but andrew in BC ran 13.5 on slicks

Ed what size pulley are you running?

I'm well aware of his time from "Redline Forums". It's the quickest Redline that I'm aware of.

I'm running a 2.8" pulley. The charger just screams now!

Originally, I swapped to a 3.1" pulley. That can be done with a stock tune but putting in colder plugs (NGK BKR7E @ 0.040") is a good idea. You might be able to get away with 3.0" pulley, however, you might get some belt slip. I did have a 2.9" pulley on the stock tune, and I was rewarded with the ECU going into limp mode.

So, to give you a quick answer, I'd go with a 3.1" to start.

Deerfoot (this is highway number 2) south to Barlow Trail (this loops around and goes north)---east on 114th ave (very first set of lights) to 68th-turn south its right there.

okay got your number. Calgary is very easy to get around in--unlike Edmonton.

Just follow my directions. You'll be on Deerfoot for close to 20 minutes--the Barlow turn off is at the south end of the city.

I'm hoping to do a few things over winter too. We'll have to compare notes to see what we each have planned.

Don't forget you also have that lighter flywheel and full exhaust. That probably helps a bit. Either way, I'm going tonight, so we'll see if I can get a better time.

I dont have the full exhaust. I have the stock header. And 2.25" GMPP PPerformance Cat-back. I have the smallest aftermarket diameter exhaust you can get lol. But I think it sounds the best.

Umm, as for next year... I am either selling the cobalt, or spending lots of money on a custom turbo swap.

Maybe I'll go wash my car first or something
Or maybe buy something for my car...*sigh

Is there anywhere in Calgary that stocks non-ricer cobalt items? Performance stuff/clean exterior things?
