OUCH ppl u dissapoint me trying to drive a CAR thru water........GOOD BYE ENGINE HAHAHA.......seriously, if u EVER see water going above your rims it's time to shut it off and push!!!! ESSPECIALLY if you have a Cold Air Intake!!!!! THAT'S SAD, i hate to see some perfectly good engines get junked btw lol deerfoot swallowed a Van

Tell that me to and my Elantra I was given it all she had thx to some lovely Z-rated tires a little rain or even snow and ice has never stopped me, lol just gotta have the right tread for the job hehe I got Mich-X-Ice tires for winter drifting and some lovely Kuhmo Ecsta SPT's for summer cornering

Ah the car is all happy now... flushed all the fluids in her and she runs like a dream almost like a brand new car. Had a couple 300zx's towed into work and the engines are done. Tomorrow will probably be worse for tow-ins.

And living in calgary and with a roommate who has hydrolocked his engine 3 times now I will never have a cold air intake on my car!b

ya.....all the shops in calgary will be "flooded" with engine replacement jobs lol (no pun intended......or was it? lol)

that storm was killer....i was stuck at work for like 2 hours after i got off cuz of a giant puddle blocking the exit!!! some guy in an ion tried to make it through and he really messed up his engine!!! so did a couple vans...man it sucked

I have some pics, maybe later i will post em..

ya were still getting cobalts in that tried going through puddles one i know of got off lucky and didn't do much, and the motor is saved...the others haven't been as lucky that i know of.

This weather stome suppose to be here in Michigan around 2-3 am friday be have been having strong winds all day long today here
