Went to Edmonton!!

So ya went to Edmonton yesterday, (saturday).. Holy crap they weren't kidding about the police on the highway, as I was cruizin at 120kph, (my friend didn't bring his SRT-4) I was just thinking to myself "man I have to watch these on ramps as I know the police can use them to catch people!!" Sure enough this cops comming down the on ramp and I hit the brakes slightly to bring myself to 110kph,lol...

Soo we get into Edmonton about 4:30ishpm man it was nice but cool!! Traffic was nice and my car was getting quite the few looks but then I did mount a camera on the head rest rails (info and pics on how I came about making a camera car mount later)... Well needless to say we drove for about 8hrs total for the whole trip incuding soooo much driving in Edmonton.. Man the roads I must say are crazy rough and well having a lowered car is not fun at all...

Now the fun **** was the curvy streets and sharp down hills into an abyss of "oh my god are my breaks going to hold and what if theres a car around the corner on this down hill??" lol lol but now I loved that short tunnel that U shoot down, the car having no muffler sounded soo awsome, sadly I never got a vid or sound byte of it cause it was soo cool!!! ... Now for all the sweet ass cars we were hoping to see were mainly G35's, BMW's, Subaru WRX's, the odd Honda rice but nothing else, oh ya we did see a nice Lotus Elise ...

The Car was great on this albeit short trip and well next time I'll take some of those corners harder and sure as hell some video!!!!!! I didn't see one S/C or SS n/a while there except at a dealer ship, but it was nice.... On the way back we did 140-150kph and thankfully no coppers.. Sorry this maybe boring but it was fun and **** we din't even get lost, soo ha we men don't need instructions girls...lol

Ok everyone hope you all had/ have a nice thanksgiving weekend

Open her up on the high-level bridge. Did that with the SS/SC almost everytime I crossed it. Supercharger scremed like crazy!

Groat Road is fun, but it is too easy to get into an accident or get a ticket if you are an idiot. It is a hot-spot for cops, so it isn't worth it in my opinion.

Thanks guys for the info!!! I'm going to save the car now till next spring, although that Groat rd sounds familiar.. Whenever I go to a town I don't normally drive in I try to be realitivly careful as I don't know where the hell the road ends up, theres some steep **** there and can get the first timer thats not experienced..

Strangely I was never worried about police even on Whitemud... But ya thanks for the reply's
