Agreed. Things are tanks. Only got stuck twice and that was being due to getting high centered after 3 continious days of snow as I live in a town with only lifted oilfield trucks.
It is impressive the amount of snow you can go through with a cobalt with good winter tires.

really? i read that from 1997-2002 they are garbage. the heads go all the time and the crank position sensors are no good. just what i read on online reviews. found a saturn sedan with 65,000km on it but worried there is something wrong since it's less then 2k
sorry, i shouldve specified. the earlier cars, around 94-96 can be ahd cheap
My sister has an 02 SL2 and it has 170K miles with really no issues. had a new T Stat and EGR that i can think of.
