haha i know im pissed got stage 1 flashed today... can't use it without scaring myself lol

wierd tho the first few minutes i had the car running it had a faint whine like a supercharger lol then it went away...haven't heard it since... they also overcharged me for my maintenance package and are sending me a cheque... but the install only cost 179$ at O'reagans and they installed it no problem.

i would say even though the stage 1 is suppose to remove the learn down on the ecu, there is still a small learn down there.
if a turbo car whines like a supercharger its the turbo spooling, i wouth think now that you are running a stage 1 you would hear it more.
my car the minute my turbo starts spooling at 1,500 rpm you can hear it, but then again i am also a strong beliver to not run a filter on your turbo just a metal screen

 

haven't heard it since the first initial startup. It's quiet now.. No filter? Yikes your playing with god there man. Maybe for race cars where the engine doesn't last more than a few runs .. For a street car that's pretty risky

 

everyone i know run either nothing or a metal screen over the turbo, last season i ran nothing, this season will be a metal screen

 

Hmm don't know if I want to cause more long term wear on my motor just to get my turbo to spool a little faster..
