Performance Automotive Stores - Halifax/Dartmouth
Hey I'm new to the Halifax area.
I was wondering if there were any good places around here to purchase aftermarket parts for the Cobalt.
and no, Canadian Tire doesn't fit the bill.
cheers.

Hey bud. Welcome to Halifax! You won't have too much luck around here. Everyone is into the rice rockets. Its a lot easier and cheaper to buy online. Thats my experience anyway. Look around on some of the vendors sites. They have good prices and they give us canadians a good deal on shipping.

You're right about that, but duty fees always ending up killing the deals we Canadians get.
BTW, i found a great place called Autoworld in Dartmouth (714 Windmill Rd). Very nice store and has a lot of products to choose from. The service rep seemed to know what he was talking about too.
I picked up a few bottles of RP Max Gear 75-90 for about $17 ea.
Duty would kill an order, but I havn't been hit yet. And i've ordered alot. The best way to do it, is try some of the stores here around town. See what they have for prices. Then check some of the vendors. Include the shipping and give yourself a little room just in case for duty. See who has the better deal. Performance Autoworld over in dartmouth is great store. They know what they're talking about and try to help everyone out. Another good place is Performance Edge in Tantallon. I don't know if its too far out for ya.

Most of the places around hrm are overpriced. Allex out in sackville is probably the best and glubes in dartmouth is also good. Overall you are better off to look online and check sites like ebay. What are you looking to buy. I see you have a stage 2 upgrade and cai. Are you lookin to get a smaller pulley?
