wow yah I totally forgot about that Andrew. His belt was very very easy to put on compared to mine, might want to check that out. But yes you can upgrade the exhaust but that wont fix the power loss, I ran stock exhaust for awhile with no problems. Put that money towards fixing the car

hmm, good point andrew...ill find that out. However im pretty sure the boost stays at 120. I'll check tomorrow when we get the car on the dyno again. I just emailed cobalt addiction about the issue and hopefully i get a good answer back.

they might not have had any in stock at the time. I know they get shipments all the time, wait a week and go back. I got all 4 of my tires for like 550 or something.

ahah what an idiot, you dont need the exact size you can go for a 40 profile tire or go for a wider one.

Exactly Chad. The stock 215/45/18 tires size is not near as popular a size as the 225/40/18 that are far more readily available, they are almost identical in actual height, just slighly wider for better handling. There are lots of available 225/40/18 tire combos out there. Shop around I got my tires for $550 tax in for all 4.

Well ill deal with the tires sometime in the winter when its about time to change back to normal tires. Anyways, on another note i decided to tint my lights tonight. Heres some pics, i know my car is dirty as hell and i didnt have the right mode on my camera for night time so the pics suck but you guys get the pic. BTW ill be heading to the shop tomorrow at 3:00pm to get james to mess around with the tune to see whats up with the idle. And possibly new plugs.

So I did some comparing of the GM stage 2 tune to what we have now and it looks like there are some differences in the torque management section. Specifically under the spuercharger section. There are four tables, Max Boost 1st and 2nd gear and desired boost when in and out of steady state. I am going to play with those tonight and see if we can get this figured out.

HPTuner forum is a great resource as well, just go to the website and click on the forum tab, also check out the tuning section here on css.net, both have great info!

you wont get more torque than horsepower with these cars. I found I picked up torque with the meth. As for the lights there is a how to on the site somewhere

yea theres a how to on the site, i went by that. I bought 2000 grit sandpaper. Washed the lights, sand it down, washed them again, taped off parts i didnt want the paint to hit....did 3 light coats and then fucked up on the clear coat cuz it was the wrong type so i have to redo 3 lights and put another layer of tint on cuz i want them darker. And chad why do u want stage 2 if u r going to stock?

yeah i know it's really unlikely to have the torque close to or higher then hp, just saying you'll feel more torque more then having more hp, if u can follow what i'm saying might sound a little confusing
