suggestions?

hey guys here a few weeks ago i put a full 3" cai on 06 ss the car's completely stock other then that and im having a hesitation or like its bogging out a little bit when im accelerating around 2-3000 rpm its not throwing a code of any kind and my cel isnt on so far ive cleaned the maf with maf cleaner and disconnected the battery to reset it but they didnt help at all any suggestions?

Try looking at your plugs. They could need to be changed. Or even possible regapped to eliminate possible spark blow out maybe.

no im not using 93. im putting 91 in right now i havent been able to find anywhere that has 93

and quick, i put new plugs in last summer, and i thought if it was an issue with plugs it would be breaking down more in the top end but it couldnt hurt to check thanks =]

Sounds pretty normal for an intake on these cars, a tune really is a must.

Its dc sports intake. I installed it for him.

Also do quote me but im pretty sure he said it did this before we installed the intake.

It might not be the intake. Mine was bogging down, and only making 2 pounds of boost. I cleaned off the arm on the superchargers bypass valve and now it's just like new. The wd40 probably didn't go astray either. lol

I have had the same bog issue ever since stage 2 and cai. Never have had a tune other than what the pcm from ZZP came with. I may have to check the bypass valve.
