Has anyone had their rear brakes done under warranty and if so at what dealership?
I've been reading up on the problems with our rear brakes and I've gone out to check mine and they are, of course, feeling really scored on the inside of the rotors (rear driver side is the worst). I've got 29,000km on my car.
I went into Dueck on Marine to see what could be done about it, and they said that they would only consider doing something about it if their test drive showed to them that there was a problem. They said the fact that there was heavy scoring on the rotors alone is not enough to act on. Of course they took it for a test drive and they told me they noticed nothing so there was nothing they would do for me.
I was hoping to have this issue resolved proactively and under warranty. Anyone have a good experience at a local dealer in or around Vancouver or the lower mainland? Can anyone give me advice on where i should take it and what i should say?

I had my rear brakes done under warranty at Flag Chevrolet in Surrey. They didn't believe a single thing I said at first until a tech put my car on the hoist. After 15 000km 10% inside, 70% outside.
