Unfortunately, we ended up working way past our hours today, didnt get home until 8 and was FILTHY lol. Sorry guys, i really wanted to come down, i havent ,met up with any of the locals in forever and havent been to mission in WEEKS..

I had my first run... Did 14.272. Not bad for my first time ever. About to run again. Will do better

Same thing happened to me lol.

 

It's a bitch lol, the only upside is I made $400, but no fun if they keep me at work all day and can't even spend it! Lol

 

I don't get overtime.. FML.

 

So how did your second run go?

 

First run 14.272 at 102.14 Second run 14.511 at 99.20 and third 14.455 at 100.75. My reaction time sucked on all because I have never raced on a track and screwed up my launch every time. I know I can pull 13 out of my car with practice. But the most important thing is that I ran against CamG and Rich and beat them both with ease Now I know I have a faster car to start with but if I was a shitty driver, they could have easily beat me. I am pretty proud of myself. I was really nervous but now I jus wanna do it every week. I think I am going to see about doing the road course next week. I dont know the procedure yet but I am a bettter road racer than drag racer I think.

 

Nice, well done, let me know if your going to the next street legal, hopefully I can make it out there. My schedual is always changing, sometimes I don't even have one lol.

I'm hoping to get a 14 second run out of my truck. I ran a 15.2 @ 93mph the first time I brought it out. Not bad for a stock 5800 pound truck lol. I'm goin to throw on an intake and hopefully grab a high 14 and call it a day, won't be a weekly racer, I just like to track test my mods.
