You folks are hard to please! I took the information off my new AeroForce meter. Is this not accurate. Its plugged directly into the cars ECU.

no way in hell is an aeroforce meter close to what you're putting to the ground. If you're on a 2.7" w/60's and a decent tune, the most you'll be making is 275 to the wheels (give or take depending on what exhaust you have and supporting mods as well).

Don't be a cheap ass. Go to a dynojet dyno and see what we're all trying to tell you.

The Aeroforce measures engine horsepower (BHP), not wheel horsepower. It's not very accurate either.

Wow, some of these guys are worse than revscene. Your better off listening to a bunch of vagtech dummies than to these guys. If the guy has his info wrong, inform him. None of this bullshit. For one, we're all cobalt owners. Two, your trolling our region forum. Do something else more valuable with your time if your just gonna be jackasses. Go work on your own setup and then post your own goddamn charts. You act like your on youtube.

alot of us have worked on our cars extensively. Some of us have no problem slapping on injectors and a smaller pulley in less than ten minutes. But I see what you're doing....i love when newbs come in and try to school the old people.

Not trying to school anyone. Enjoy learning about tuning but I a no expert. did noot slap anything on. I took advise from shop that did the work and from the company that provided the parts. Mods I have done.

Ark Grip Exhaust, Injen CAI, Eilback Sportlines, DC Torsion bar, stage 5 kit from Intense that includes ported and polished housing, new narrow nose housing, 60 lb injectors, 2.7 pulley, dual pass intercooler end plate, intercooler reservoir upgrad, pacesetter header, base map tune from intense and 4 hours on dyno with hp tuners which netted 230 hp max and then says 253 engine hp. I have been told that this dosn't seem accurate considering what I have done. Considering a better tune but looking for a good place to do it locally.

look for a local tuner in your area man, those 4hrs on the dyno burnt mad cash unless it was all included in the whole install.
i did a street tune with a local tuner and it took 30mins and only a few bucks for a street tune, well at least cheaper than any dyno tune and you will get more power out of the car with someone who tunes cobalts on a regular basis but if the dyno tune is all you have then just stick with that. i just think with all your mods hp wise you should be around 250-260ish whp.

So I'm a cry baby because I'm annoyed about how ignorant and disrespectful you are? Not just to anyone, but to a fellow cobalt owner? I'm sure you've gotten real far in life with that sort of attitude. I don't know about down the in the states, but here in canada, we try to treat each other with some form of respect and be able to have a civilized conversation with out someone throwing some crappy picture that they stole off of a google image search and just sat there and waited for the perfect time to use it on a topic. You don't see anyone of us (as far as the pacific region goes) go onto your forums and blast you on your topics, or demand to see dyno sheets, track times etc. As if it effects your way of living or somehow if he's lying that you'll will be king of the forum because you showed him. You need to get real.

That's great that you've worked "extensively" on your car. You know so much about it then why don't you help him out and give him some advice. If he wanted to hear a bunch of jackasses bash him, he could have just as easily gone to revscene and taken it all in from them. But he posted it here, not just to talk to the local guys but to gather some real advice on what else he can do or any tips.

I think I'm done with this website. It seems whenever I come onto our forum to see what's up with the local guys, it's filled with a bunch of posts from trolling retards who really have nothing else to do and very few of them have ever posted anything that resulted in any sort of significance to the topic at hand. It's just garbage.

Superforce, I wish you goodluck with your project and hopefully you have fun with it. I will more than likely see you around at the track at the street legals if your taking the car out there. I would take everything you read from these guys with a grain of sand and do your own thing. Half of these guys spend more time sitting at their computers with their dick in their hands than they do with a wrench.

I'm not saying you're trying to school anyone...hell that comment wasn't even directed towards you. I don't think I ever ridiculed you per say. You did what any person would have done when they want to go fast but don't want to risk the DIY part. Can't say I blame you; just wished you had a friend or two that maybe could've said "Hey, I've done it before, let me show you how easy it is." Hell, I didn't even flame you for saying you got those numbers from your Interceptor guage.

This must be a self portrait. Thanks fullmetaljacket! the comments were appreciated. Some people on this site dont get it. If only we were all born experts eh! I am currently looking into a different tune. Its all a learning experience and thanks to most of the members on this site who are always helpful. To quote a great business owner and cobalt owner who once said "Dont wish for a easier life just be a better man"
