I'm thinking about meeting up with the people coming in from the east. Sort of a meet & greet at join in the convoy for the last 50-100miles of their treck.

Lmao! I plan on going, but I can't register until I see how well the money thing will work out as the time approaches. I will do my damnest to make it, that's for sure, and it's sheer luck that I booked my vacation during this time in advance of knowing these dates lol.. it works out but i'm not gettin the overtime hours I normally do and I banked my first 80 for the year so I'm WAY behind. Love BC, was planning on vacationing to the Island during this time, but I may have to cut it short if I can go at all. =/

It is starting to look like there is a high likleyhood that the car won't be 100% before this meet takes place.

I will know better tomorrow after we have the NHRA chassis certifier go over the chassis roll cage. It turns out that there are issues because the shop in Niagara Falls that did the chassis seems to have built it to IHRA rules not NHRA. Some ot the cage will need to be redone and some other bars will need to be installed. All of this is for the saftey of the car and driver. To do some of the welding the roof needs to be removed. How much more time will this add??? I wish I could say. I will say that after having a heart to heart with the shop, I think he finally gets the way this car makes me feel and why I need it to end.

Needless to say Darren, it won't be home this weekend.

Damn Rod, every speed bump you can hit, you hitting on this, sorry to hear that. Hopefully there isnt too much that has to be changed and wont take to long. Atleast this shop understands where your coming from with this though

Im sure i will be able to make it for one day atleast, we will see when time gets closer.

Well who's idea was it to have the meet from manitoba to BC IN BC! that is just plain stupidity.

I met up with most of the Sask guys this month, awesome folks. i know they agree with me. this will be the lowest turn out ever for a WCCM.

next year, Manitoba. then you'll know how it feels

yea we get it, some of the east coasters dont like it... lets get over that now. It was a ******* group decision, no single person decided, it was a public poll, and BC won by quite a big margin

I dont get how else it should have been done, big vote that everyone was able to see, there was lots of votes made, and the decision was clear. Dont like it don't come, theres always another year.
