What mod can I do while under warranty?

OK I am wondering what mods can I do to keep it under warranty? I know the GM Stage 1 kit for the turbo can be done but what else?

I will be changing the rotors and pads soon to the R1 vented and slotted rotors and some good pads like the Hawks especially if I have to take it into the dealer again for them to just turn the rotors again as next thing you know it'll rain, I'll go down a hill in White Rock and they'll warp for getting so thin! I'd also like to do the projector headlights in black with HID conversion (if that is allowed).

he's in Canada, so that really doesn't apply. To be safe, you can do exhaust, downpipe, intercooler, and charge piping as far as engine mods.

I wonder if I'm still under warranty even though theres not really anything stock leftover on my car outside of the actual body itself... no wait... not stock either... hmm... Nothing is stock in my car anymore other than the carpet lol. Yet I still managed to get my tranny warrantied.... so don't worry.

Mine's an 09...all the plumbing going in and out have been changed to go along with the Trifecta 22psi tune...am I worried? Not really...I even took her in to the dealership to have her realigned after installing the lowering springs and OZ wheels with 245 tires...it rumbled all the way into and out of their garage and they didn't even bat an eye...

i hear the dealer overlooks air fresheners and painted dash trim. Maybe even stick on carbon fiber port holes, but they may nail ya on that one

Change the antenna for a stubby also change speakers.
Because the only thing that your voiding the warranty on is the factory speakers that aren't being used.

More interested in finding out about performance mods that won't screw me for warranty if something goes on the drivetrain.

GM stage 1 is the only one the dealer won't complain about.

Even then don't beat on the car.

I'm 36 and don't beat on my cars at all. This is my nice day driver as I also have a 2001 Ford Explorer that I drive in the winter and bad days. I collect and restore classic cars and if I want to beat on one I'll take my 69 Cougar out and smoke the tires or something. Just mainly wanting a mod that will produce a nice take off while cruising and also just to have that extra power for when a kid in a Mustang pulls up to me at a light as I love that surprised look on their face when they catch up at the next light. This is my first smaller 4 cylinder car in along time so I am kinda out of the loop on newer car mods.

Here's my other cars.

My 1969 Cougar XR7. 347 Stroker, EFI, with T-5 5speed transmission.

My 1967 Cougar, 302 bored to 308 with flat top pistons, big cam, T-5 5 speed transmission. This one is a total show car.

Here's a video of my 69 that I just sold last weekend. Love the sound.

you can put any bolt on part on the car, but if that part causes the problem, the dealer wont warrenty it. Only thing that will completely void a warrenty is a tune or ******* with engine wires or wiring harnesses and ****. Lowering the car wont void the drivetrain warrenty, but they wont warrenty the shocks if they pre-maturely fail since your springs put more wear on them. get it?

Yes I heard that GM Canada is more **** than in the US for aftermarket mods on a car when warranty issues come up.
