I've got a super clean red SS/SC with 18,900 miles. Its got black leather, power sunroof, and xm radio, non G85. Its bone stock and runs perfect. I got this car just to drive back and forth to work. Right after I got the car I got laid off and may be laid off for a while. The car had some minor front damage when I got it, but was so minor it didn't even get the radiator. The parts to fix these are so exspensive the insurance companies just total them, so it has a rebuilt title. I'm just seeing if their is any interest in a car, this nice for a price of $9,900. If there is a serious potential buyer, I will take numerous pics and e-mail them to you. The only thing left to put on the car is the lower lip. I will not take less, don't ask. The price will go up when the snow melts.

How hard would it be to get a clean title for this? Does the vehicle have to be fixed and then inspected and then issued a clean title? I'm not sure how this process would work.LOL

 

A rebuild title is registerable.. You can never get a "clean" title once it's been salvaged.

Clean title gets wrecked and totalled ---> you get salvage title ---> you get inspected after repair ---> You get registerable Rebuild title

 

You are correct. Salvage title means the parts to fix it were going to cost more than the car was worth. If the damage was so severe the car would not be safe to drive, they will not even give you a salvage title.
