Hello Gents,
I am in the Marine Corps and have recently been stationed in Parris Island. I am in need of a car, and I am willing to wait to get what I want. I want a Cobalt SS, and have for years. I am willing to spend around 8-12 thousand (or up to 15 thousand if it is a steal). If anyone has anything they are willing to work with, please let me know. I don't mind the color (though I would prefer white, red, or black).

Oh trust me, my eyes have been glued to Craigslist, Autotrader, modifiedcartrader, everything else that I could think of. I'm stubborn and hard headed (so everyone tells me). I just know what I want

I've been doing my research, and I would LOVE to have an 08/09. But, I am ideally looking to spend around 10k, max 12.5. I am more than likely going to Japan in a few years so I would like to have this car paid off and back at home for my family to use while I go over seas. But, with all of that said, I do NOT want a slow boring car. I want a nicer, newer, faster car. One that I can mod and have fun with while I am here.

Even if I do not pay it off in a few years, I will while I am in Japan (or just over seas in general) since we get paid nice $ in cola.

 

A modded SS/SC is not a slow boring car by any means

unless you compare it to a tuned SS/TC

 

I definitely didn't mean that at all... I grew up driving an 02 Eclipse GS with no real mods done to it other than exhaust, intake, and exterior mods. 27k miles when I bought it for 9k. It had the 02 4g64 motor, but ultimately was slow.

You can have mine for 17. I have over that much in modifications. Its listed on modifiedcartrader for like 20 I think.

 

I would love it, but I don't think that I will get more than a 15k loan. And, 15k is the highest that I will spend. I'm more looking for something around 10-12.5

Yea, I would just rather find a nice stock for around 10-12.5 and then mod it myself.
