2005 Cobalt SS/SC w/ many extras (265whp!!)
I am the one and only proud owner of this car. This car looks brand new even though it has 83,000 miles on it. I wish I never had to get rid of this but the car just sits at my parents house 3 hours away from me under a cover most of the time. My new job has given me a work car and I live in a city where I would need to pay to park 2 cars. I don’t get to drive it as much as I want to. I bought this as my first car, and I have turned this car into a little rocket. With the lowered suspension, front and rear sway bars, strut tower brace, stiffened engine mount, stiffened transmission mounts, stainless steel brake lines, hawk brake pads and drilled and slotted rotors, the handling and braking can’t be better. Acceleration is great with the 2.8” pulley, 60# injectors, 2 step colder spark plugs, limited slip differential, upgraded clutch and flywheel and 264whp and 243wtq. All of the cooling modifications on this car like the option b kit, extra heat exchanger, dual pass end plate, and upgraded high flow pump help keep the intake temperatures down which in turn gives you greater hp at higher boost. As for the looks of the car I didn’t do too much other then add a new hood and changed out the headlights for a set of HID lights.

That box is mounted to the bolts that the rear seats are mounted to. Also below that fiberglass layer, there is 3/4" MDF board so it is a pretty heavy box. It takes a lot to rattle that. I built that box to the specifications that were in the JL handbook, then i fiberglassed the box and painted it for looks.
I know it's a lot, but i am willing to negotiate a little. You won't find many cars in this condition with all the extras i have put into this one. I know it is high miles, but that basically because i used to travel from Pa, to NJ, to DC all the time. All the prices i have listed above are the prices i paid for the parts, not even the installation. I basically did everything i could with the car minus throwing on a bigger supercharger. That was my original plan, but i didn't have the 2grand plus the money to tune it, especially when you resell the car and everyone wants everything for free. I wish i could keep this car but it doesn't get used enough and i feel bad. I don't want it to rot when it should be playing in the streets.
I also know the engine bay isn't too pretty. I didn't have time to clean it. Unfortunately the paint chipped off of the spark plug cover. I am going to paint that the right way this time and clear that up, as well as steam clean the bay area iself. I will repost a picture on that when i get that done. I'm gonna use high temp primer and then high temp paint on this go round.

So you are comparing a car with 3k in upgrades to something closer to 10k in upgrades? The transmission is brand new, so thats got 4,000miles on it. Thats typically the first thing to go in any car. These engines are built to last. It's the Saab transsmissions that sucks.
