2006 2.2 cobalt trade in value for 2007????

i have a 2.2 2006 cobalt ls 5 speed. i bought it for just over 12,000 dollars. i was wondering what the trade in value would be if i traded it in for a 2007 cobalt ls base model. i think it goes for about 13,400?? could anyone give me lowest to highest price numbers? i have already put 1500 dollars down on the car with 150 dollar payments per month since july. so about 2100 ish? (not doin math right now lol)

i want this because i want the nicer steering wheel/radio. and i want the ECM mainly.

thanks everyone

i did and excellent condition gets me around 9500 dollars. ive put about 2100 bucks into it so far. so trading it in basically means an extra 1500 cause the 07 is 13,500 for the base. asuming i get the max amount for my car.

is this correct?

and i have the 0% finance on mine. can i transfer that over as well? or do i need to wait for that deal to come back?

do i have to do it at the same dealer i bought it at?

and lastly, what kinda payments can i expect to pay for this?

thanks :

Don't do it. I gurantee you won't get much for trade in. Theres been plenty of stories about guys being screwed over on trade in.

If you buy a new car your financing on your old car cant just transfer over it would be whatever current financing is. You can go to any dealership you want but sometimes you get a better deal from the dealership you bought it from.

really even on the 2006 models? man i bought this car 6 months ago and its already gonna screw me over??

o well then. my dad works at powertrain and he knows the guys on the ecotec team. hes told me that its possible that the guys can gimme a retune maybe in the summer. but idk my dad sometimes stretches the truth. so we will see in the summer.

just to be safe i'll just get the gmpp intake, exhaust, header and be done.

thanks for the tip

Last week I was offered $8200, $8500 & $8600 at three different dealerships on my 06 Base 2.2 5 speed w/ 8000 miles on it. I was looking to buy an 06 SS/SC. These things seem to depreciate real quick. You'd be better off keeping it IMO. That is what I am doing, unfortunately.
