2006 2.4L for sale

Hey guys I have a 2006 silver 2.4L cobalt ss for sale. The car has 56k miles on it

5sp manual

sun roof

stock subwoofer

heated seats

leather

one yr old yokahama 520 all season tires.

always used 93 octane

regular oil changes

No mods (unless u consider a k&n filter a mod)

Nothing wrong with it at all!

I do not beat on this car and the miles are mostly highway from driving back and forth to college.

The only reason i am even considering selling it is becuase of a buddy of mine is gettting rid of his gto.

I have to get $10k for it to beable to do this. If u feel the price is to high at least be polite about it Price drop to 9300obo due to kbb being 9100 for good condition and 9700 for excellent.

located 25miles north of detroit

what's it matter? It's his damn car, he can sell it for what HE wants not what you guys want. You gain absolutely nothing by telling him his car isn't worth 10k.

Did anyone say they are trying to gain something? They are trying to help him out.

ok looked at some more cars and kbb and found out that 10 is a lil much but i did add that the car has leather, heated seats and a sunroof so i believe my new asking price is more fair.

Send a pm with additional questions

I own one and asked 6 for it and no one wants it. These cars are impossible to sell. We were dumb to buy them.

Granted its a trade in price....

But when I went and looked at trading in my 08 they offered me 7900... That was with only 32k on it and in good condition!

Sorry man these things just dont hold any real value.

This is wrong.

It is an SS and clearly has a lot of features in it, manual is usually a turn off as many people don't know how to drive it. But this car looking at the stats and assuming it has no scratches or any major issues with it. I would sell in the upper 8-9,000's. It only has 50,000km's on it.

Have your car 'totaled' out lol don't really though. you'll face some serious **** if your caught. Good luck though. There's SOMEBODY out there that is willing to pay that much you just have to find them. I have a 08 G5 with 60k and it had a trade in value of 8k so there's a chance you can get what your asking.

You need to post pics to comply with the rules in classifieds, just FYI.

Also KBB is grossly inflated price-wise. Take what they say for your car in "good" condition and subtract about $1500-2000 and that's about what you can expect to get out of it in a private sale.

People really don't know price ranges of vehicles.

First off, this is a fully loaded 2.4l SS. BUT it is 5 years old, and has 56,000miles on it or 123,000 kilometers for us Canadian Folk.

I bought my 07 FL 2.4l SS WITH Winter Tires/Rims for 13,500, vehicle had 31,000 miles or 50,000km on it. The first two years, your car depreciates most in value. After that, your car keeps depreciating and so forth.

First off, it is a MANUAL 2.4l, that is the killer .. because the SC and TC are also Manual and being able to buy one of those for a thousand or so more would be a better investment, no? Also, is your car in good quality? Any Accidents or engine troubles? Expect it to go down more.. also your car being Silver is also a kill (Not many people like Silver, be thankful it isn't orange tho).

All in all my first estimate from the information given would probably be around correct. 8-9,000$. Would be fit and fair I think.

Isn't that how most people's dreams get crushed on here - another car comes up that they're just DYING to have, but they have to sell their Cobalt for $x,xxx to make it work and/or pay off what they owe only to find out it's only worth about 75% of what they "need" to get out of it.
