2006 Cobalt SS/SC
Well, I got rid of my Trans Am for this car only a few months ago. While it's a very nice car, and is immaculate, I'm just having serious V8 rwd withdrawals. Going from the setup I had in my T/A to this just isn't really doing it for me. It's an '06 Cobalt SS/SC. It's black with red/black interior and only 44k on it, which is pretty low miles for a car that's 5 years old. The guy who had it before me was a stickler when it came to keeping it clean. So, the car is absolutely immaculate and still looks brand new. I actually feel bad driving it back and forth to work, because I'm scarred I'll get it dirty. The car has absolutely no issues at all.
MODS:
-Injen CAI
-2.8 blower pulley
-60lb injectors
-OTTP Stage 2 tune
-B&M short throw shifter
-Aftermarket heat exchanger along with stock heat exchanger
-Clear Image long tube header and catless DP
-Stock catback piping with a Dynomax muffler and Magnaflow tip
-Aftermarket black housing projector headlights with Halos and LED's
-Smoked tail light overlays
As far as I know, these are the only mods. Don't think he mentioned any others when I bought the car. He said all mods were done in the past 6 months after the factory 36k mile warranty was up. This car is extremely clean and looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. It's a great mixture of perfmance and fuel mileage. Just doesn't suit me that well. Only option the car is missing is the LSD/Recaro seat package. Otherwise, it has the two-tone red/black leather seats and door panels, with power everything, premium Pioneer stereo (factory sub in trunk), and a power sunroof.
