2006 Harley Sportster 883R
Hey guys,
2006 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883R - Stage 1 - $7,000
Trying to post up my Sporty for sale. The thing is borderline showroom and rides great, but just trying to minimize my payments.. I owe 7,000 on it, so that's the only reason I'm asking that. If you're looking for a Sportster, this is it. Ready to roll, with the popular mods (gutted mufflers, K&N drop in filter, carb jetting kit, Xenon headlight bulb, Amsoil synthetic oil, Hastings oil filter, Accel plugs, lay-down plate backing and chrome plate trim ring) and the flawless metallic silver paint with wrinkle black accessories. It also has a Harley bike cover (never used) as well as a sissy bar (for the wifey), factory Harley alarm, and you can have the helmet too if you like (full face, flat black). The bike has approximately 2,500 miles on it. Currently PA inspected.
For anyone who doesn't know, the 883R is a special version of the Sportster that was modeled after the famous XR750 track bikes. The 883R had two different versions, and this one is the better one. The first one was around in 2002-ish and had all silver parts and a single exhaust. This one came out in 2006 and had all black accents, duals, etc. Much better. It has dual front brakes, 4 piston calipers all around, two-up track seat, track bars, etc. It's a very sharp bike that gets lots of compliments. And for a Harley, it's actually quite fun to ride. Quite quick and handles pretty well for old technology.
For a used bike, it is almost spotless and rides perfectly. You will have no issues with this bike. Will be happy to meet up and you can take a look at it. Or I'll send you a ton of pics and any other info you'd like. If you'd like to fly into Pittsburgh and ride it home, I'll get you from the airport, and AAA is minutes away.
Here's the pictures. These are from Spring. The lay-down backing isn't pictured. Just imagine the plate laying down on the fender. haha

Thanks!!
