2006 SS 2.4 coupe
Hey guys,
It’s come time for me to sell my Cobalt. The car is currently somewhat modified, however it can be changed within reason to fit what you want.
The car has 75,XXX miles on it currently, however it’s probably 85% highway mileage. I owe approximately 10k on the car, but I'm listing it now for 9,000. Again, I can revert certain things back to stock, however I can’t knock any money off for any of it aside from the radio.. Otherwise, you’ll get the car as-is.
The car has OEM smoked headlights (all black), Nightshade tinted tail-lights/3rd brake-light/side markers, Ion Recaro seats (front and rear, sensor installed), HID’s for main lights and fog lights, Injen intake, AEM Dry Flow air filter, DC Sports strut bar, Ion Redline wheels, SS s/c gauge cluster, black dash/door trim, Pioneer in-dash screen DVD player with Sirius, Dynomax Super-Turbo muffler with resonated tip, M3 spoiler, SS s/c front lip, SS s/c rear lip, black front bow-tie, de-badged emblems, Sportline springs, Viper remote starter / alarm, etc. The pictures will explain.
I will have removed the front Brembos and gone back to stock SS s/c brakes by the time this would be sold. The brakes are all about 80% life left, and have ceramic pads. The tires are Bridgestone Potenza G019 Grid’s, and they have probably about 80% life as well. The coolant was just flushed and filled a week ago by a dealership, as well as the car getting a fresh BCM.
I would have no issue driving this car anywhere. It’s very reliable, and clean looking as well. This car would be perfect for anyone looking for a daily, or a project also. It consistently gets around 25 MPG city, and up around 35 MPG highway.. I’ve run 93 in it since day one, and it’s gotten synthetic oil since the second oil change. The oil was recently replaced, and still has 96% life left according to the dash.
Now, for the changing things up. I will install a high-rise spoiler for you if you’d like. Or you can take it as-is. I can put a set of 18” SS s/c chrome wheels on it, but the tires will need replaced shortly. I can also revert to OEM chrome headlights (late model clear corner style) and OEM red tails, etc if you’d like. Same with headlight bulbs and such. I will revert to a stock intake if you’d like. I can also swap to OEM SS s/c leather seats if you want them.. I can also swap to a stock radio. The radio is all I will take off of the total for, and it’d be like 200 bucks. Aside from that, just ask. And again, the Brembos are NOT included. They’re already sold.
In summary, this is a clean, well taken care of Cobalt. It’s always been properly maintained, and driven within reason. Never taken to the track or abused in any way. This car is ready to go.
I will arrange for a local meeting, or I can pick you up at the Pittsburgh airport if you’d like to do a fly in, drive home type deal. The car is financed through GMAC currently. If you’re local, the dealer could refinance you. Even if you’re not, they can likely work with you. Otherwise, a bank loan or straight cash is always accepted as well. In other words, you give me 10 grand in some form, the car is yours.
If you have any questions, or you want to discuss options, please post or PM. We’ll swap contact info from there.
Here's some pics:
When it's really clean..

And how the car basically sits, currently..

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.....

Way to assume before finding out.
This is the same car. And I am fixing the problem. It's a bad coil-pack. It'll obviously be replaced before anyone buys it. Big deal.

Alright i was looking at your car for sale because i am searching around for a 2.4L SS and i noticed that in one picture...Your car is an automatic...and another it is a manual...just letting you know to make sure you are trying to sell the pics of YOUR car not the pics of cars that LOOK LIKE YOURS. but GOOD LUCK.

Would you consider swapping seats?
You recaros for a set of all black LT seats.
Just thought I would ask.
Thanks.
I would do all the work and swap sensors if needed. Doesn't take long at all.
