***UPDATE for 4/12/2010*** Just claybarred/waxed the car with Zymol. Take it home while its silky smooth!
Anywho, up for sale is my 2007 Cobalt SS 2.4. Anyone who was on this site over the last few years ought to know both me, and my car pretty well, as even though i'm practically a stranger on here now, this wasn't always the case. Any anyone who I met along the way while involved in the Cobalt scene, whether it be a local in town or someone at one of the many meets I both attended and hosted, can vouch that I have taken VERY good care of the car since I first purchased it brand new back in late '06.
But, as with any with, all good things come to an end. Since acquiring a new daily driver, the car is rarely ever driven anymore, and I am looking to sell it to make room financially for a new project.
Here are the details:
2007 Cobalt SS 2.4 coupe w/ a 5-speed manual transmission. Color is summit white w/ ebony leather interior. Factory options include center console/armrest, power sunroof & side curtain airbags.
Mileage: 74,xxx and gets driven maybe once a week if that.
Modifications include:
-AEM cold air intake (polished finish)
-Outerwears pre-filter
-Cobalt Addiction v1 header
-XTC 2.5" de-cat downpipe
-ARK N2 cat-back exhaust
-HP Tuners tuned by BennyHHR
-Ingalls "stiffy" engine torque damper
-Modern Performance polished oil filler cap
-GM body color matched hood strut
-TWM Performance short throw shifter
-Prothane upper/lower polyurethane trans mount bushing inserts (never installed)
-Eibach Sportline lowering springs
-DC Sports CS-1 carbon steel front strut bar
-Progress 22mm rear sway bar
-19"x8" Axis Mods with 225/35/19 Nankang Ultrasport NS-II tires (tires still have adequate tread left)
-Powerslot slotted rotors (front/rear)
-Hawk HPS brake pads (front/rear)
-ARK shorty antenna
-shaved/wingless trunk
-VHT nightshaded tailights/side markers
A few of the car's accomplishments include:
-CobaltSS.net July 2008 Car of the Month
-PFYC.com July 2008 Car of the Month
-2008 CobaltSS.net calender car (August)
-Tuner Maneuver Magazine feature car (April 2009)
-Turbo Wax winter 2008 photo submission contest winner
-Oil was changed with full synthetic every 5,000 miles (always either Royal Purple or Mobil 1)
-Washed/waxed & claybarred on regular basis
-Fuel filter changed at 50k
-Car had extensive 60k maintenance performed by ASE certified Chevy technician (Bryan aka yel-low) including resurfacing of front rotors, cleaned the throttle body, radiator flushed, four wheel alignment, replaced all exhaust gaskets, new AC Delco iridium plugs.
-I still have the stock 17" polished wheels, but two tires need to be replaced.
If you have any other questions regarding maintenance, condition of the car, etc etc, feel free to ask!
Before anyone asks, at this time I do not wish to part it out, so don't bother asking. I owe about $12,500 on the car still, but I am asking $10,000 firm. I just simply cannot afford to go any lower. Serious inquires only. Someone please give this car a good home!
Thanks for looking!
And of course, a few pics. I have MANY MANY MAAAANNNNNY more pics available upon request. Or you can always just sort through my gallery, as I have many pics of it in there too.

lol car has actually been for sale for quite some time, I just had yet to post the news up on here. Its parked out in front of my condo currently all cleaned up and ready to be on its way. Its sad almost, but i'll be happy once I can finally part ways with it.
And before anyone says anything, i'm working on getting the pics up right now.....stand by!

I'm selling it, being honestly, I just had a huge falling out with the car last year. Rather than pour any more money into it, I realized that at this time in my life, its just not the car I want anymore. I mean I loved the hell out of it for most of the time I have owned it, as i'm sure we are all aware. The car was my pride and joy....my passion.....but I have decided I want to move on to something different. To be specific, a 2010 RX-8. I have always wanted an RX-8, even before I got the Cobalt, but I could never really afford a new one until now. Plus, for the last year or so I have indulged myself in the whole stance/hellaflush scene pretty deeply, and I want a proper car to do that style build with....and lets face it....Cobalt + hellaflush isn't a likely combo. Largely because there just simply aren't any aggressive fitment/super low offset wheels available for it like there are for popular Japanese/European cars. The reason i'm no longer on here anymore is because I now frequent StanceWorks.com, hellaflush.com, fatlace.com/forum & wrongfitmentcrew.com. I guess you can say the stance bug bit me pretty hard, and it has since become my sole interest in the automotive world.
Anywho, the car has been great, and it has really brought me alot of joy in so many ways, such as meeting so many great people over the last few years, but its just time to let it go and dive into something new.
Thanks man, I appreciate it. And yeah, so do I. I put so much time, work and love into this car....I would really hate to see it go to waste.

Same old same old man. I got laid off this time last year, was un-employed for a few months, and then landed a job @ Comcast. Well, long story short, but Comcast gave me a HUGE promotion this past August and I make pretty damn good money now. Otherwise, life is pretty much the same. I rarely take the car out anymore, as I have picked up a daily beater ('98 S10 2WD 5-speed/4-cyl.....BEAST....lol), and I honestly can't even remember the last time I even posted on here until today.

Good luck with the sale! I'm glad things are finally working out for you. I still have your number and such from hooking me up with Joe last year; I'm not sure if it's the same still. The car has been tuned and still is N/A, but has never seen a dyno.
I appreciate everything you've taught me when it comes to modding, with this being my first car to be modded. Don't be a stranger and I want to see your RX-8 when ends finally meet. Keep your head high man, I'm sure someone is willing to pick this beauty up real soon.
Anywho, feel free to call anytime man......that goes for anyone who wants to catch up. As for the RX-8....once the Cobalt sells I plan on taking my time with the RX-8 build. I haven't really got alot planned just yet. I know I want a liquid silver sport model (its the only model I can afford, lol), and plans thusfar include Stance GR+ coilovers, 18"x9.5" +12mm Work Emotion XC8's in white, which I plan on stretching the factory 225/45/18 tires onto, and a generous amount of camber & fenderwork
Car has always been one of my favorites on here as well. Hell mine and yours aren't all that far off from each other. Anyways good luck with the sale and hopefully you'll get what you're after. Definitely a sad thing to see it go.
i absolutely LOVED your car, i always thought you had one the best looking cars on the site. your car is the reason i wanted to go wingless on my 2.4. looking back today, i'll be a member on here for 4 years in may, its amazing the way this site went and thinking about the people who used to post.
Thank you for the kind words everyone. The car will definitely be missed. But I can promise everyone that my next car will not dissapoint, and I am very anxious and excited to get my hands dirty on a new project.
Aww. Good luck with the sale man. I remember when it was pretty much only us two rocking the Ark exhausts, lol. Good luck with the RX8. A guy I work with has an 09. The handling is rediculous. Hopefully you don't get as many tickets in a 3 month period as he did. lol.
