I have always liked the gunmetal rims on the 07's.

They are infact Malibu SS rims, but were also used on most 07's from the factory. The other option was polished aluminum (the ones I have) which were just left overs from the previous years.

At the time when I was ordering my car, I didn't know the gunmetals on the 07's looked different. If I knew I would have purchased them, because I feel they stand out a little more. I ordered the polished aluminum rims, because I heard the issues some people were having with the gunmetal paint flaking/bubbling off. I didn't want to deal with that.

They do stand out .... I noticed them immediately when I was at our little cobalt meet . I think they look great ..... just that little difference sets them off. I'd like to see a set polished with that little lip.
