FS: 2009 Cobalt SS - 57k Miles - RI - Original Owner

Hello,

up for sale is my 2009 Cobalt SS with around 57,000 miles. I am the original owner, title in hand. This is a non G85 car, Black interior, black/red interior. Reason for selling, I am looking to get a truck as I do not drive the car very often. I am asking $9,450.00

Overall the car is in very condition. I drive it everyday to work (about a 7 mile round trip) and it runs perfect. Body is in good condition with a few scratches, but no dents that I can see. Never been in an accident. I do wash the car regularly and wax usually twice a year.

The interior is also in very good condition. The seats do not have any rips or tears that I can see, and the back seats rarely get used as we use my wife's car for long trips. The only interior issues that I can see are: Tear in drivers floor mat, shift boot has some wear (pealing leather around top), some spider webbing paint around the HVAC controls (not peeling), some light wear marks around the bottom of the doors, and the driver side door handle chrome trim is peeling off. Other than that it is in very good condition for its age.

The car does have a few modifications, but the engine is bone stock down to the paper air filter.

Mods are:
-Pedder springs
-Relocated boost gauge to speedo cluster (binnacle)
-Hard wired for radar detector
-Wingless trunk lid (will include original trunk lid with low rise wing)
-I replaced the brakes at ~ 20k miles with R1 Concepts slotted rotors and Hawk HPS+ pads. The pads are great in the summer, but do squeak in the winter and in the rain before they warm up. Once they are warmed up they are fantastic! If I were to keep the car, I would most likely switch to a more street-able bad on the next go around.

I also have a second ECU with a tune done by HP Tuners in MA. The tune was dyno'd at ~291 HP, but I haven't been running it in over a year. So for about a year, the stock ECU has been in the car.

The car is also sitting on Enkei EKM3 wheels and all season tires. I will also be including the original wheels in very good condition (no curb rash) as well as the original trunk lid with medium spoiler, original springs, and original boost gauge pod (basically any and all OEM parts I have for the car).

The only issue with the car is the airbag light comes on sporadically, usually in the morning, and shuts right off. It tends to go off and on, but for the most part stays off for the majority of the ride. The car just passed RI state inspection so I haven't had the desire to fix it, but it would be a good idea to correct after purchasing if you so desire.

Other than that, it has truly been a reliable car and never left me stranded. The clutch was replaced under warranty at around 30k(?) with an OEM replacement due to a bad slave cylinder, but other than that it has never had to go to the dealer outside of recalls and inspections. I change the oil and filter myself at exactly every 3k miles with mobileOne synthetic and an OEM filter. I also did the spark plugs, air filter, and cabin air filter with OEM replacements in the summer.

The car has been a pleasure to own, and I have no problem keeping it if the market isn't right. But ig someone is looking for a clean low mile Cobalt SS, this car may be for you. Thanks for looking and feel free to PM or email me with additional questions if you are a serious buyer. Also, no trades and no part outs.

Thanks again!

GLWS I will ask around as I am from RI as well. Any chance you would sell the stock wheels separately?
