I Really Hate to Have to Do this But My Car is For Sale!!!
Most of you guys on here who know me know that I love my car. However due to recent events a coupe is no longer practical for me as my wife and I just welcomed our first child our daughter Delilah. Let me just say trying to get her in and out of a rear facing car seat in the back seat is no easy task and I have decided that the Cobalt needs to go to make room for a sedan, 4 door truck or SUV.
My Car. Silver Wingless 2008 LNF Balt with silver and black interior. Car was purchased July of 08 with 12 miles on it ( I drove it 4-5 on the test drive) Car is loaded with every option they had in 2008. 34K mostly highway miles. No accidents no problems at all. Car is daily driven to work and home mainly highway. I have averaged 30.5 MPG since the car was new. Car is mechanically perfect not one issue anywhere. Car has never been NLSed even with the stock tune. Oil has been changed by me every 3-5K miles (50-60% oil life) using only top tier synthetic oil that meets GM spec 4718M. Car will be sold with whatever tune the buyer wants anywhere from 15 psi and mild to 24 psi and wild and everything in between. Car has cat warmup delete which makes the car 100% better to cold start and drive off without waiting 5 minutes
Mods: Gen 1 projectors (stock headlights which I still have were on the car less than a year and are in perfect condition). Smoked LED tail lights, GM stage 1 kit and custom tune installed by me 1.5 years ago with no issues at all. Clearimage CPs PCed black. Hahn intake PCed black. Hahn DP. 3" stainless catback with Borla XR1 muffler and 4" Borla tip. Car sits on pedders springs with rack spacers to prevent bump steer and has an OTTP 1" rear street bar. Wheels are stockers painted Flat black and they have no curb rash at all on any of them ( I have never curbed the car ever) Tires are 235/40/18 Yokohama Advan AD-8s with over half tread remaining ( 13K miles on them) I still have all the stock parts ( headlights, airbox, DP, springs, just not the catback) and they will go with the car as well. I have a total of 29K invested in the car (Sticker was 24,800).
Price is $14,500

If you are married with a baby and looking for a replacement for a car that gets 30mpg, I don't suggest anything with the letters "SRT". Maybe a Chevy Equinox if you must have a SUV. Better yet, a Cobalt SS sedan, or some other I4 sedan. Gas is going to keep getting higher. Contrary to popular belief, 8 pound babies need neither SUVs nor minivans. I've been many young couples make this regrettable mistake.

I dont necessarily need to get 30 MPG but I need power and some sort of handling otherwise I get really bored driving the vehicle and I end up wanting to get rid of it after a year . Every car I have owned has been a coupe so this will be my first sedan or 4 door anything LOL. The Cobalt is actually my favorite car overall except my GTO had a much nicer interior.
