Term, is there any negative side effects from having cat warm up mode turned off? What exactly does this do, Of course I know it makes it so you can drive away right away which is nice, but how is this done. Do you just turn up the idle speed and turn off the mode or is there something else going on?

Also is your Hahn DP catless

There is a master enable/disable switch for cat heating. You then retune the idle rpms vs ECT and cam tables to smooth the idle out. My car idles really nice once I got everything dialed in. Car no longer sounds like an airplane on cold starts, you can drive off with it bucking when cold and the idle is much smoother.

A coupe with a kid isn't all that bad! Then again he only rides in my car a 2-3 days a week.

I cannot find any within 200 miles of me and also even the G8 GTs are way too expensive used. They want about 24K for a 08 with 40K miles which is way too much considering you could get them new for 30K or less.

Yeah and the car is not special really. The GXPs are rare but new they were going for over 40K.

They made a limited Firehawk version too.

They started with a G8 GT, shipped it to SLP, and then added a blower and some other parts. Bumped into one at a meet. It was awesome indeed.

Never seen that car before. Sounds like it would be too expensive. If I am going to pay over 30K I am getting a new vehicle not a used one. If the 2012 SRT-8 Jeep ends up being the same cost as the regular 4x4 hemi limited Jeep I say why not. Extra 120 hp and the same gas mileage either way.

Well when GM was going down and Pontiac was cut, they were offering $6k off the G8 GT's brand new, then would have been the time to buy one.

I tried to get one but couldn't finance the money at the time, 3 months later I was able to finance but they were all taken up in my area.

Found a new G8 GXP in NC, but it was still out of my price range even with 6k off.
