Glws. 2012 Jeep SRT-8 is a great replacement and will be a fast choice lol. I'm guessing the new 392 will be in it which will most likely make it 12 secs off the showroom floor. They're damn quick. Only downfall, is stay off the throttle lol.. one guy I know around here told me he used up almost 40 litres of fuel in 100 kms with heavy driving. If u figure that out, its somewhere between 7-10 mpg. They're not that bad if u don't have a heavy foot tho :P

The way I drive with the MDS and 5 speed auto I will get probably 18-19 MPG (even my dads 4x4 guad cab hemi ram which weighs 600 lbs more than the jeep gets 18-19 MPG on the hwy) I am 90% hwy driving and no short trips.

I also looked up my cars private party value on Edmonds.com and it comes out to $14,649 true market value which is lower than Kelley Blue Book but still $150 more than I am asking for the car.

Here is my experience as a father. I bought an LS sedan simply because I needed a new car that would be reliable, had a warranty, etc. It was also cheap. I'm the same as you though and I get bored with cars easily (the difference is I've never had a FUN car). I've made mine fun as you can see in my sig. It still lacks power, but it is a fun car and I've been able to keep it this long (bought it June 07 just before my first child was born).

My suggestion to you (and this may not be feasible because I don't know your money situation, but it sounds like you have more disposable income than I do) is to keep the car and either store it or just drive it when you won't be having your daughter in the car. Once she gets a little older (my son is now about to turn 3)...he has been forward facing since 1 1/2 or 2 and he's able to climb in and out of his seat on his own...I just have to buckle him in. It makes it so much easier. Now I'm contemplating buying a coupe because of the fact that he can get in there on his own and I only have to turn around to buckle him in or unbuckle him. Of course there are times when he's asleep and I pull him out, but that's not that bad.

So I don't want to tell you what to do and I don't know what you can afford, but if you could get a cheaper sedan to just last you a couple years at most for driving her around, you could still enjoy your TC and then when she's of the age to climb in and out of the back, you're all set (unless of course you would get rid of the TC by then anyway).

Hope this insight helps with a decision.

GLWS Congrats on new baby, I too know what it is like to put a baby in a rear seat rear facing car seat, it sucks, I did it once and never again, we use the wifes car when we go out.

Same here I did it once and never again. It is very difficult to get her in and out and buckled in there safely. Especially with the size of the Recaro car seat I have.

I'm sure you have a newer Recaro which I think they're bigger than what I have. Between my son's mom and I, we have three of the Recaro Como child seats...lol...awesome quality though.

The 2012 srt 8 jeep is actually slower than the previous model because its 350lbs heavier.

This
And with a tune, it could push over 500/500 with ease.
