2.2 Ecotec Super Charger Kit

The Cavalier Supercharger kit returns to CrateEngineDepot.

I have been talking to GM and i was able to get some of these discontinued kits.

Rumor has it that if you use an aftermarket tune you can adapt this kit to the Cobalt.
I don't have all the details but I do have the kits.

Link to order the kit

YOUR PRICE: $2,450.00

From the picture, it looks like everything is there except for a few things. Such as intercooler pump, heat exchanger, supercharger to IM gasket

this kit was designed to run without an intercooler i believe and it only adds around 30 hp from what i have heard...i could be totally wrong...i believe it is the m42 supercharger and much smaller than the m62

"This kit upgrades power to 200 hp "
"kit is the same as the factory supercharger that is used in the 2005-2007 Cobalt SS"

according to CED it's the same supercharger and makes about the same power?

supercharger to IM gasket is included in the kit. I don't know why it is not pictured.

Supercharger is the Production Cobalt SS LSJ Supercharger.

This was designed to be non-intercooled but the laminova tubes are in the manifold. So you would need the intercooler parts if you wanted to have that. The SS intercooler will fit perfectly on a 2.2L car and then you would need the pump, bracket, pump isolator (rubber piece that surrounds the pump. The intercooler fill and hoses.

The kit even has the special studs that you need because the holes in the 2.2L head are 6mm and the holes in the manifold and LSJ are 8mm. The studs are 6mm on one end and 8mm on the other.

I have bought the kit and installed it on my 2007 Cobalt LT
The only change i had to make on my engine was removing the engine hoist braket and shaving it down a bit to fit the tension pulley.
I have one problem tho...
How do i tune this hahaha
I'm new to this...
